  • Improvements that address a crash when loading maps and some memory leaks, remove a hiccup when team switching, joining a game and starting a round, and may also fix some performance degradation issues.
  • Some fixes to Skybreak that hadn’t come in in the previous update including some fixes to dark spots on the map - note that the “tetris” textures on the walls are not intended and will soon fall into place
  • Took out some unneeded console messages to prevent possible micro hiccups

0.20.267 was a maintenance update for the sake of investigating/potentially fixing some server connection issues

  • In Play-Quick Play Brawl 3v3v3 has been renamed to 3v3v3 Brawl and moved from the Brawl Play Card to the Arcade Modes Play Card
  • In Play-Quick Play Brawl Instagib 3v3v3 has been replaced by FFA Instagib

  • Team Voice Chat has been fixed and reenabled, during the last closed beta there were some issues with it not outputting some people’s voice. It functions with push-to-talk which you requires you to hold a keybind, which can be set in Settings-Controls-Communications (B by default), when someone is speaking an icon will appear via the Team Voice Chat HUD element (added by default on your HUD, you can move it if you wish) and if you wish to mute someone you can do so by pressing Escape, going to the Match menu, selecting the Players tab and clicking the mute button next to a player’s name - IMPORTANT: currently Diabotical does not recognize any audio device changes while it’s running, if you wish to change your input or output audio devices for when you play Diabotical at the moment you must do so before starting Diabotical
  • Fixed not being able to jump on the vent next to Mega on Perilous

  • Reenabled the penalty for abandoning Competitive team matches now that the reconnection issue was fixed

  • Wipeout now has backfill (new players join if someone leaves) and is continuous (at the end of the match there is a map vote and a new match will start in a few seconds)

Unreported changes before Weekend 2:

  • The Implosion Weeball’s ground pull (negative knockback) has been increased from -250 to -300
  • The Implosion Weeball’s splash radius has been increased form 260 units to 280 units

During Weekend 2 at the start of Day 2 CET, there were some unreported changes with the Shaft that we decided to not reveal until after the weekend:

  • The Shaft’s rate of fire has increased from 55ms to 46ms (fires faster now)
  • The Shaft’s damage has been reduced from 7 to 6 damage
  • The Shaft’s air knockback has been reduced from 9.8 to 9.6

Additionally:

  • On Day 2 the Melee’s damage was been reduced from 100 to 75 damage
  • On Day 3 the changes to Outpost Dunia were reverted on Sunday
  • On Day 3 the Melee’s animation was made faster to better match the instant hit when attacking with it
