Appreciate the support here! We are working hard on the game. To be honest, I don't mind the feedback and in fact we love feedback. Feedback is immensely helpful for us, and that is one reason why we are on here, Discord, Reddit, etc. I even understand the frustrated feedback, and that's okay. The only thing that we don't want to see in the community is pure hatred or toxicity towards the devs or other community members.

Patch v2.3 – Season 2 – TU 2

NEW FEATURES

FOV SLIDER ON PS4 AND XBOX ONE

Reminder, that since our update earlier this week, we are now supporting the FOV slider on all generations of PS4 & Xbox One.

Keep in mind that changing the default value might impact the overall visual quality of the game, as it affects the dynamic resolution scaling.

  • Default value: 80
  • Minimum value: 70
  • Maximum value: 105

Developer Notes: You may have noticed the default FOV value has changed from 65 to 80. In fact, the value remains the same, but we converted our FOV measurements from Vertical (65) to Horizontal (80) to match player preference.

 

WEAPONS

Patch 2.2 adjusts some of the changes from patch 2.1 and fixes a major issue with the Komodo.

The patch was great outside of: explosives buff (Komodo needed one but got just a bit too strong of one), the bumper control layout with melee on Y??, and the main one 15 second health regeneration. If you can revert all those changes ASAP this will go down as a very memorable patch that helped the game a lot. The controller settings and exponential are fantastic Btw. The aim assist is at a perfect level now as well. This was such a good patch minus those glaring negatives

First off- thank you so much for a detailed, constructive, well thought out and spoken post. I truly appreciate the work and effort that you put into this post. I read every single word.

Also let me start with, we are only 24ish hours after the patch now, so I do not have a lot of hard updates for you, but will speak to what I can.

Controller Changes

We are looking at custom binding for controller, as that has been top feedback for controller players. In the short term, I have reported the thoughts on the controller layouts now including having Instant Melee on Y button and weapon swap on the up dpad.

Halloween

Glad you like the spooky stuff, including the nighttime mode. Definitely like the idea of having having it stay in the game somehow ;)

Candies

Agreed, plus I love candy.

Hello! Thank you for the feedback and expressing exactly where you are frustrated with the game state. We appreciate the feedback. We are looking at the feedback across all of our channels, and making sure to understand both the specific feedback (such as health regen, weapon balance, etc,) and the overall meta feedback.

We know this patch is quite different, and changes a few aspects of the game. Both the positive and negative feedback will be used in our analysis and conversations moving forwards. Rest assured, we want this game to be the best possible that it can be and will continue working to do so.
