NEW FEATURES

NEW WEAPON - ATRAX

The Atrax is a full-auto rifle which shoots sticky explosive projectiles.

The chemical projectiles from the Atrax will detonate instantly when hitting a Contender, but when hitting an environment surface, they will instead stick to it and detonate shortly after.

Any enemy target caught within the Area of Effect of the explosion will suffer damage and a short slowdown effect.

The Atrax is an efficient and versatile weapon, but it has a very limited magazine clip size, so watch your ammo count closely!

  • Damage Across Fusion: 20/22/24/26/29

  • Clip size Across Fusion: 5/5/5/5/5

  • Rate of Fire: 170 RPM

  • Explosion AoE: 4.5R

  • Slowdown Effect: Movement -20% (0.75s)

The full launch of Hyper Scape’s first season across all platforms has brought new important feedback from our existing community, and from an entirely new audience of console players. Your comments are extremely important to us, and we’re starting to address them in the patch 1.1, the first major update since the launch of Season One.

Thanks to the arrival of console we have received a lot of comments on the game experience with a Controller, much more than we heard during our Open Beta. Players particularly reported issues related to the aiming sensitivity of the game, and the comfort of Controller sticks in general. As such, we are adding new Controller settings to disable Aim Acceleration and choose a Linear Response Curve. Making sure you have a good experience on console is key for us so we will continue monitoring your feedback on this topic closely.

KEY NEW FEATURES

CONTROLLER RESPONSE CURVE SETTINGS

2 new settings have been added for Controller aiming:

· Aim Response Curve: Classic Curve / Linear Curve Toggle (Classic by default)

· Aim Acceleration: ON/OFF Toggle (ON by default)

Developer Notes: Many of you, especially those playing on Console, asked for improvements on the aiming experience on Controller. We’re adding these new settings for all platforms to let you to better control the level of precision & inertia when aiming with the sticks. Choosing the Linear Curve will create a direct link between input and aim speed.

Disabling Aim Acceleration will remove the inertia from your aim movement and create a more predictable aim.

Hey, everyone.

Want to say, I truly appreciate the pouring of passion here for Hyper Scape. It's truly exciting to see. Theres a few different topics going on in this thread and I won't be able to touch on them all but will say this-

Short term - keep an eye out next week for some news on changes :)

Long term- we are committed to keeping this game awesome and exciting. Part of this is the day to day listening we are doing that informs our patches to the game. A different part is bringing in new content and ideas to the game. While I'm not able to say much, I can say that we have a lot of awesome things coming to this game in the future.

Keep up the passion, and see you out there!

Hey, just wanted to be clear we do have anti-cheat. We use BattlEye to assist with anti-cheating measures. We have permabanned a large portion of cheaters. It will continue to be a back and forth, and is a situation we are actively monitoring and investigating everyday.

We didn’t want to go into the weekend without acknowledging these issues, and want to assure you this is being taken very seriously by our team, we understand your frustration and want to resolve it asap.

Audio Cutting Out Mid-Game

Unfortunately, this bug is still an issue, our team currently is tackling this as our top tech priority. Short term, we plan to temporarily remove the Magnet Hack early next week, as it is tied to the biggest occurrence of this bug. Mid-term, we plan to introduce a number of significant improvements when Season 2 arrives in early October.

Faction War Audio Distortion

The Faction War currently has a bug many of you have noted which badly distorts the game audio. We will not be able to address it before that Limited Mode rotates back out of the game in about a week and a half. But we are committed to resolving that issue before Faction War returns to the game in the future....
