Hadn't played the game for about 2 years as my laptop couldn't run it well but I got a new PC and so installed the game. After loading it up, I instantly received a message saying I was banned for 'bad game data' and found I couldn't play any of the game modes. I verified and reinstalled and everything, and it didn't help
About 2 hours later I received an email saying I was permanently banned for cheating. I raised a ticket with Ubisoft and 3 weeks later, they told me they had "irrefutable evidence" I was cheating and that I wouldn't be able to appeal it.
I'm not naive enough to think complaining on here will change anything, but I'm just annoyed that they permanently banned me without even the base level of investigation and then to say they had evidence in what...
