Just to update here, we pinpointed what was causing this issue and are working on a fix that we'll plan to include in the next incremental patch. Again, this is a UI/display issue and you are not actually losing your buffs.

Are you all running any addons like "No Thank You" that may be preventing these from popping up properly?

Hey both, just wanted to double check you have checked for these items in the correct place. The costume and pet should be in the Collections UI, the Crate should be in the Crown Crate UI, and the other items are should be in the mail.

@UrQuan Are you getting the black screen as soon as you hit Play from the launcher? Or is it after you try to log in from the login screen?

Hey @Melzo! Do you happen to remember which note this was or which quest it was tied to?

For all quests. I'm picking up notes and this happens all the time. I am currently doing a quest for a new Argonian companion and a quest related to the naryu killer.

In all these quests, when selecting, there is either a double click or something else, but the notes are skipped and they can be read in the bag with the quests.

Are you using addons, by chance? If so, try disabling and try again.

Just wanted to chime in to confirm this is not a bug.

Hi everyone! Yes, confirming today is the hardware upgrade for the PlayStation NA megaserver, hence the longer-than-usual maintenance.

The Elder Scrolls Online v9.0.4 is the final patch for this PTS cycle and continues to address issues associated with Necrom quests and content, along with some outstanding bugs with the Arcanist. Please note during this week, access to the Necrom Chapter will be restricted to those who pre-purchased the Chapter to test proper access levels ahead of it launching on June 5. The size of this final patch is approximately 167MB. Thank you to everyone for providing so much feedback these past few weeks!

The Elder Scrolls Online v9.0.3 contains the highly anticipated balance adjustments for the Arcanist, along with additional bug fixes for the class and other abilities and item sets, including the issue where some monsters could not be attacked. Next Tuesday, May 9 beginning at 3am EDT / 9am CEST, we’ll be taking all game megaservers plus the ESO store and account system offline for maintenance. During this time, we’ll be doing some backend work which includes necessary support for the new and future megaserver hardware. The Elder Scrolls Online v9.0.2 contains many more fixes for Necrom quests, content and itemization, and some adjustments for the Sanity’s Edge trial. There are also a number of bug fixes for general combat and Arcanist abilities, with balance changes coming in next week’s PTS patch. For those utilizing templates, note that the new Companions are now automatically unlocked rather than having you go through the questline first.

The Zeal of Zenithar event is currently active for testing, and on May 2nd, we are publishing an updated Beta Launcher that will have an opt-in test; we would love for you to download this and give us your feedback! All PC EU characters have been copied this week, and the size of this patch is approximately 648MB.
