Hey all, we're working on a fix for this to hopefully include in the next incremental patch.

Hey all! Glad to see some of you found the download. Here are the exact steps if anyone needs them:

On the PlayStation 5, navigate to the PS5 version on the PlayStation™Store by either using the overflow menu “(…)” on the ESO game hub or by opening the PlayStation Store and searching for “The Elder Scrolls Online: PS5 Upgrade”. You can then begin the download from the PS5 product page. Note that you may have to go through the normal purchase and install process as if you have purchased a new game (it will be free).

Hey everyone, thanks again for your ongoing patience. We are currently working with Sony to make some changes and are aiming for this issue to be resolved sometime this evening. We'll keep you posted on the status or any further updates.

Did a quick run through on series X and it looks great, better than what we got on backward compatibility, but in fidelity mode I'm getting input lag I've never had before.

Performance is great and flawless, but I'd like to enjoy fidelity mode as well and right now the input lag is kind of a deal breaker for me to enjoy it.

What sorts of input lag are you getting? Could you provide some examples?

For the first issue you listed, are you attempting to group through the Xbox UI or the ESO in-game UI?

Hey everyone, thanks for your ongoing patience. As of 12pm EDT, we are still working with Sony on investigating this issue.

Not yet, still holding for a resolution. Thanks for being so patient, all.

So no PS5 upgrade for digital owners of the game? Would have been nice to mention that in the FAQ.

That is not intentional and as mentioned above, we are investigating why that's currently occurring.

Restoring Licenses doesnt work; getting an error code about ESO Blackwood. Could be related?

Have you purchased Blackwood already or no? (Don't worry, we aren't judging - just trying to troubleshoot!)

Ok i figured it out, at least for me, apparently i bought the game in a bundle that came with morrowind i believe, i had to go and buy the base game for 19.99 and then it gave me the option for the ps5. Its downloading now but kinda sucks even though i had the game already i had to buy it again from the store

there is no way I am gonna buy the base game again for 20€

You shouldn't have to, either.

Roger that, thanks all. We're still digging into this...

Could you all please try rebooting your systems and see if that triggers the download?

It says Disk required, but I've never had the disk version.

FYI: We're looking into this now and should have an answer soon.

FYI: We just published an FAQ for Console Enhanced that hopefully answers a lot of your questions over in this thread.

Hi @ZOS_GinaBruno

Higher up in this thread @ZOS_SarahHecker posted that previous console generations are unaffected and don't need to patch.
This would mean that the enhanced version is a separate download.

But you mention patch size here. Did you perhaps mean the download size of the next gen versions, or will there indeed be a patch?

Kind regards,
Michael

Apologies! I did mean the download size. There is no patch for tomorrow's Console Enhanced update.

Can I still blame a case of the Mondays here?
Comment
We're working on getting patch sizes for you all, but in the meantime, you'll be able to begin downloading the update at 7am EDT tomorrow (June 15).

While we won't be officially extending maintenance, we are still in the middle of wrapping a few things up and will be going slightly past 10am EDT. We'll be opening soon, though!
