So, officially, it's outcroppings. Vengir land, as does the Square as a whole, has surface or near-surface ores that can be used. Of course, the amount of materials is still very limited, and that's why they can't use the metals for widespread tools, luxuries, and etc, but only for swords. Mines help dig into mountains for larger amounts of ores, which in turn allows for a surplus and thus, consumer goods (raising population).

The theme for the Yadakk as a Turkish/Mongolian group was inspired by a fan idea, but only because it fit with what we wanted - a tribe with Roads.

Yes.
And most skin ideas in development are already pretty well established. While we listen to your ideas, we don't strictly base them off of fan ideas.
Just don't think too hard about how anyone found a Baerion pelt large enough for the giant. :P
