I personally find it extremely difficult to double tap the CTRL key at a consistent rate. I had to bind it to my mouse key, and spam it a couple of times for consistent slides.
Can’t wait for those changes.
I find it impossible too, that's why I use 'pose switch' which is bound to 'X' by default. We also added sliding to that key.
Why doesn't slide work 100% of the time? Sometimes I'm running across half the map double pressing crouch and I'm just running around like a clown, not a single slide works.
We need to work on that. There is a 2s cooldown between slides and the double tap needs to happen in 0.2s I believe. We're aiming on getting the activation closer to bf1 which worked much smoother.
Were you able to sleep that night?
Were you a major lead when it came to the sliding mechanic? If you were then I f**king love you, sliding is very useful for running around.
Yeah I did some work on it, we're planning on releasing some more improvements in the near future. Keep on sliding and sharing :)
