Broken Moon Skybox is one of the most ambitious, technically

I left Respawn while the Moon map is 6 months from ship, so lots has changed by the time the map was released to the public. (Mod may take my Respawn Dev status away.

It's not unofficial servers .... There rented servers from EA An respawn. There tournament servers you have to pay for. My clan has three separate servers where you can change almost all aspects of the BR and arenas. From how fast weapons reload and fire to what map and type of map you play.
Edit : someone sent me a link to show this is indeed a "custom" server .... Made up by a clearly very clever little group of people . I still stand by my comment you can run your own tournaments on your own terms. My explanation didn't sit right with some people ..we don't HAVE three servers. We use 3 on weekends that we are given access to. Via a tournament code

Read morei feel you. It's like some people come on here specifically looking to engage in fights so that they can bait you all into saying something bad and they can clip it out of context and spread it all around.
Example: Many people spread around the whole "Freeloaders and Asshats" comment from back in Iron Crown (Which mind you is almost 2 years old now, i believe), but they always seem to conveniently forget the other part of that sentence, being "And we love you guys for it."
It's like how RKR mentioned a while back, that sometimes it's better to just not engage and let the trolls be angry rather than engage and give them more fuel and ammo.
Though sometimes i do genuinely think it'd be hilarious to see one of you guys clap back severely against a toxic comment, but that would just push things into a boiling point of chaos...Just know that many of us do care and respect you all. Game design is challenging work--i would know since i've tried...

I appreciate the attempt at levity, but in all honesty sometimes it feels like talking on the Internet is like this. Person on the Internet asks me a question and is outraged that I could say something other than exactly the answer they want to hear, not necessarily the answer that depicts reality or truth. :(
Hey guys, try to not get into an argument over me please. I think the situation just needs to cool off a bit, That's all. Everyone is very passionate about the game and days like yesterday can be thought for everyone who cares about Apex or Titanfall. I certainly don't have bad feelings towards the community. I try to empathize with you and I can understand your frustrations. It still doesn't excuse how some things went down so I think some time off is a good thing 👍

As someone who is over 40, has 3 kids, chronic disease, limited time, and just hit Platinum for the first time ever I can honestly say I love seeing people improve and progress even if it’s “only” Silver or Gold. Everyone should be measuring against themselves and that’s it.
I've said this before but - I care a lot about Ranked being for *everyone* that wants to take the game seriously. It's not just for pro players who compete at our ALGS events, it's not just for content creators that regularly drop 20 bombs. As long as you think "Hey I like playing this game and I think I want to get better at it in a setting that has a bit more structure" - I want Ranked to be the mode for you to do that.
That means inevitably that some people will be unhappy with how Ranked is structured as it doesn't suit their particular needs as well as it could. In particular I admit - it is hard to say that being #1 on the Ranked ladder means you are much "better" than #300 for example, but it is a balancing act to try and make sure Ranked works as well as it can for as many people as it can.
But but, there's no equip cost, how can it be an equipment? No activation cost for the ability either?

The truth, as often, lies somewhere between the extremes of "Respawn doesn't crunch, and will never crunch", and "Respawn doesn't care about their workers". We've crunched before, sure. I crunched for like pretty much 9 months straight on the first Titanfall! I know people who basically lived in their office for half a year on Titanfall 2. I don't want to speak on behalf on the Jedi and MoH teams since I don't know their situations as well but I've definitely heard of people putting in late hours to push the game across the finish line. It is thus patently untrue to say we never ever crunch and we never ever will.
It is also patently untrue to say we don't care about people's health. I had a break down about 3 years back; was clinically depressed and feeling suicidal. I put in my 2 week's notice but multiple people reached out and asked "Hey, we know things are rough for you now, but let us know how we can help. Don't quit, take a sabbatical instead, and if after that yo...
