We have detections in place for players that do this, and deal with them appropriately. This player and the groups specifically we were already aware of; just know that these things aren't instant, we want to validate anyone caught manipulating ranked to reduce false positives.

Definitely frustrating, but it's easy to see when people are doing this and take action. We understand that this is a bi-product of 5 stacks rules(which we think are worth the cost), and we are only going to get better at preventing it and detecting it. Hope you are having a good first week of the Act otherwise!

Heyo -- We'll have a few fixes for Raze Ult in the 5.05 patch. It likely won't make the patch notes since it probably won't fix every instance of this issue, but it should help. It will fix this situation, and we'll keep an eye out for other issues.

These fixes are specifically for when the rocket does zero damage. This won't affect situations where it deals some amount of damage, but it looks like it should deal more.

But all good man, I don’t dislike the skinline, just 25 kills is s bit too much for me when I play comp only in imm+. Topfrag in my games is usually on 30 kills at the end of the game. So I respect that the effect is special but rn it is a bit too special. I think for the gems it should be 20 kills max and 25 kills + topfrag could be the trophy. Just my 2cents

We actually were totally okay with it being something you only see at the end of the match, like it's earned progressively through the course of the match. Appreciate your thoughts though because we do read stuff players say and wanna hear how people feel about stuff. <3

(Also, I should have specified I was in an unrated the person was having a good game and kept denying our praise when we hyped him up.)

Look bruddah, if someone on my team is dropping 25+ I want them to feel f**king invincible. So much of this game is about mentality and yes, team play is important, but the guy dropping 30+ is definitely doing his job

I enjoyed hyping up the random teammate I had today who dropped 30-something today and had the knife.

I actually had a game today where my Raze had it first half! It was really special spectating while they had it (they had 26 kills and were top frag, so got to see the butterfly knife and the Phantom).

Complain to your ISP. Also tell me who they are and I’ll see if it’s fixable.

That was me! I think there's a lot more going on compared to the previous butterfly knives: - Blade crystal effect fills out every 5 kills, up to 25 kills - If you have 25 kills and are top fragging, your inspect changes (trophy easter egg) - top frag glow if you're top fragging (similar to the Champs 2021 Vandal last year)

The additional shooting sound is the biggest reason I'm buying this one though, as that was definitely missing from the 2021 champs vandal.

This finisher isn't as cool as the brimstone secret one though but you set the bar too high with that one haha

I looooove the firing effect (both the sound effects and muzzle flash).

Nothing beats Brim Daddy, I know. :P

Transformative animations at the start of every round you pass a benchmark might compensate, but these would obviously be expensive from Riot's perspective.

For the Finisher yeah we wanted there to be some sense of continuity that threads together the 2022 and 2021 skins. The "trophy world" is different than the Brim Daddy world from last year to still give it some difference.

The gun does glow when you get a kill! The VCT logo glows on-kill similar to how the Champs 2021 glows when you get a kill.

We debated a lot on the number of kills. Ultimately, we wanted the effect to feel special and rare and 25 felt like the right amount that feels special but also not something you'd get every game. It's aspirational and something you'll really appreciate when you do achieve it.
