Ok, but we will do Magepunk 3.0 with no Vandal and no Phantom. Deal?

What are limits? Are you held back in any way of your personal art creations? Or are you free to kinda just create whatever you think would work?

On a VFX side, the main limit that we have is gameplay integrity, making sure we're not making the skin pay-to-lose basically.
Also, we have a very low minimum spec bar for our art, so it is very important to make everything as efficient as possible, but I see it more as a challenge and a way to find crafty work arounds, like little brain puzzles!

So make it one, if you know what I mean ;)

I joked once with Preeti that we could easily make the shorty more viable by giving it a 3rd barrel/shot - but then we’d need to redo the skins we already made

How do you decide which skin lines get a 2.0? For example Prime has gotten 2 different bundles but Reaver has only gotten one. Is it based on popularity of the skins?

Not really. In most cases we start working on a 1.1 or 2.0 set before the 1.0 even releases. It just depends on what we think may have potential to be pushed further or just needs more. Glitchpop for example we knew was a good thematic but didn’t have good guns. We have to balance out making new stuff vs just revisiting old ideas

I loved Minima as well! A very cool skin at a reasonable price. It and the Infantry series are two lines that I think people look over because of the price. Both are extremely cool

Ah even better! I helped on Infantry too! <3 Thanks for your continued support!!

What was the hardest skin or skin effect to create? Do you have a favorite agent contract gun?

I absolutely loved the Nunca Olvidados collection, it was so obvious how much care and love was put into it. Gracias por todo <3

Oh man, it's difficult to rank which skin was the hardest to create, as they each have their own unique set of problems. Some are technical problems, some we completely re-do than what we originally planned because it just didn't feel right to use in game.

Awww!! ¡Muchas gracias por gustarle Nunca Olvidados!! :3 As a 2nd Generation Mexican American, that skinline brought me close to my Mexican grandparents more than anyone can imagine. lol I have personal ties to that skinline that will forever stay in my heart, so to hear that you love it really makes me happy!! <3 Thank you for your support. <3

We love it <3 Valorant’s skin system, even though kinda expensive, is the best designed cosmetic system out there of any multiplayer game.

damn that is high praise. thank you.

If you could add new variations for an already-released skinline, how would this variarion be and which skinline?

I'd love to see it! We usually dont go back on released skinlines so we focus on new things, while also making sure we dont break anything though.
I feel like we keep pushing the bar up higher and higher with every skinline, and we're reaching a point where our older bundles don't feel as complete as the new ones. To me it just shows how much we've developed as a team <3

What exactly is the business (or otherwise) reason for this? I'm curious

Some players have already bought it so changing it for some means upsetting players who bought it and love it. Prime2 karambit is an example of that. Lots of players asked us to change the Level 2 animation, but many players also loved it.

Stop trolling me bro😢. Okay but now im gonna be serious and i found more vandal skins much better designed and the effects seem much more attractive if that makes sense. But there are a few phantoms i rate highly like ion, oni or prime. Maybe a more "powerful" shooting effect would be interesting

Sorry, it's Friday. I'm kinda in a troll mood.

Which Vandals do you like other than Reaver?
