Are you on a laptop? I don’t think the game will even launch if it tries to use the Intel GPU

Write errors on Steam are generally due to your anti-virus locking the file and causing steam to abort the download. You will need to either add whitelisting of the game files to your anti-virus or temporarily disable your anti-virus.

You can also try running steam as an administrator as well

Comment

Do you have a dedicated AMD or NVIDIA GPU? The only GPU being detected is the AMD Radeon™ Graphics

Note that write errors in the steam client are generally speaking because your anti-virus is killing the download by locking the file. You’ll need to add whitelisting in your anti-virus to address this issue

Please could you upload your darktide_launcher.log?

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Locate the darktide_launcher.log in this directory

Hi @Visulth,

Based on the information within your logs, it appears that you are encountering GPU-related crashes.

We’re working with our hardware partners to identify and solve underlying issues. However, it’s possible that these crashes may be the result of a localised driver-related issue and the like.

You can find information on how to solve localised GPU crashes here:
