We’re investigating the reported performance issues since the release of Chaos Wastes.

To support our investigation and help us solve this as promptly as possible, please tell us:

• What sort of FPS are you achieving?
• Have you made sure your mods are disabled? This is important!
• Your PC’s specifications?
• Your Windows version? ‘Settings’ → ‘About’ → ‘OS Build’
• Was Sienna played? Which career?
• Was there lit lamp oil involved?
• Which locations do you notice this the most in? Screenshots of the worst offending areas appreciated!
• Did your FPS drop after using power-ups, or right from the start?

This is a mod-related crash, but I can’t be sure which one. Unfortunately the only reliable solution is to disable all mods and re-introduce them until the crashes stop.

Based on the information within the logs, it appears your Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 is set as your default GPU, as opposed to your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 . This is consequently resulting in your crashes in Vermintide 2, as the Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 cannot handle the demand.

Please run through the solutions listed below:

• Ensure your monitors are plugged in to the dedicated (as opposed to the integrated) GPU ports on the back of your PC
• Perform a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers using the appropriate instructions below: ...

Sadly it has caused a new problem that has blocked the patch from going live. Work continues to rebuild and test. Sorry for the trouble here.

I have to ask, have you tried restarting Vermintide 2? Otherwise, try the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option:

1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
2. Select ‘Properties’
3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button
5. When complete, close and reopen Steam
