Hi @Zankaru,
The error HRESULT: 2147942487 = E_INVALIDARG indicates that it’s a GPU-related issue.
Could you run through the following please;
The plan is to show them off a couple of days prior to their respective release! If folks harass us enough, we might open the lid sooner, or change that approach.
No, those will be coming after release, we don’t want to slam the game with a bunch of paid bits. First the Forgotten Relics and then roll out cosmetics afterwards - again those wont all come at once and will be staggered.
I’m as disappointed as everybody else to see nothing will be done about this for the Chaos Wastes release. It’s long overdue, no excuses. I’ll see what I can do…

I don’t think this would make it unplayable to the point you’d have to disable the Vermintide Mod Framework (and subsequently all other mods). The issues identified with the Vermintide Mod Framework are an inconvenience, but the real problematic mods will be those that cause unavoidable crashes and performance degradation.

Patch 4.3 will be released tomorrow together with the Chaos Wastes. There are many fixes and tweaks in this update together with tomorrow’s patch.
The update tomorrow will be a refactor. Meaning that the download will be big but the overall disk space Warhammer: Vermintide 2 claims will decrease.
There is a list of Known Issues, pertaining to MODS specifically, at the bottom of the list.
I’ve added this to the database for investigation. Thank you for your detailed report!
Looks like a code-related crash we need to address - I’ll pop it in the database. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Nice work! I’m pleased to hear you’ve uncovered the culprit.
