Ah, sorry, yes you did mention that in your main post! m’bad. I’ll pass your logs along!
I’m sorry that I can’t offer any immediate solution for this
Issues with connectivity since 3.4 are a top priority for us though - we’re working on it.
@Froh It should be there now!
@Froh uh oh. We’re on it!
Thanks for the report @PielDMiel!
Has it been any better (or worse) than on the main Steam branch (non-Beta) throughout any of these steps?
@Sypieni it sounds like a potential overheating issue. What are your temps like?
Could you all try to set the sharing setting in Steam / Settings / In-Game / Steam Networking to Always and try again?
NEW INFO:
All players in the lobby must enable this for it to be effective.
Hi @Saryk,
A new patch has gone live today addressing a number of crashes. Let us know if you encounter this crash again after the patch.
@Fatshark_Hedge
I tried the Steam BETA client and tried all of the options in that networking setting but experienced no changes in ping, even after rebooting the game and steam with each setting change (Default, Friends Only, Always)
Dunno why but the setting isn’t helping. It’s either a different issue, or the game is somehow ignoring said steam setting.
Thank you! I can confirm this has been resolved internally and should be included in our next patch.
Valve have made some changes, but they might only be noticeable on the BETA Steam client. We suggest anyone suffering with eggregious ping since 3.4 should try out the new settings on the BETA client.

Hi @Syndreia
Looking at your logs, I can see it’s setting your GPU as Microsoft Basic Render Driver, and it is not picking up any other GPU.
Assuming it should be, what GPU do you have?
It’s been quiet around these parts. It’s time to break that silence.
We’re immeasurably thrilled to show you the first gameplay trailer from the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Darktide!

Timestamps in the log names should help identify the corresponding log.
Thank you!
