Welcome to Update #14 - bringing you a host of fixes and a few adjustments. This patch will is also the groundwork for an event coming later this week, stay tuned on July 11th for that!

This update might take a couple of hours from now to find it’s way through the pipes to your console.

welcome to Update 13 on Xbox one. The update brings some fixes and tweaks, alongside a new set of Weekly Events.

Patch Notes

  • Introduced a new set of Weekly Events.
  • Fixed an issue where you didn’t get any paintings if you run the game in offline mode
  • Fixed a crash that would occur if you went back to the start menu and logged in too fast.
  • Fixed a crash that would occur if you altered some gameplay settings in the option menu while at the start menu.

  • Items granted through promotions, or contests, will now be presented in a popup as you start the game.

We’re putting out 1.6.1.1 today. A small but important patch which fixes a crash and a issue with lobbies.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when closing the game.
  • Fixes an issue with some lobbies not showing up in the lobby browser.

It's another week, and today we're updating Vermintide 2 with a new set of Weekly Events as well as a few fixes and tweaks.
  • Added 4 new Weekly Events (new Event goes live at 14:00 CEST)
  • Fixed a situation that can arise when a client leaves a hosted session and for a brief window is still seen as part of the hosted session, whilst also being host of their own session, causing some unusual side effects.
  • Fixed an issue where the flames from Bardin's Drakefire weapon sometimes never disappeared.
  • Blood splatter VFX can now be turned of completely if so desired.

It is time for 1.4.1 – update #44 – bringing you a couple of winter season event quests & rewards to keep for ever more. These event quests will run until Wednesday, Jan 9 – there’s plenty of time to get these new animated Portrait Frames, so go and get in line.

On PC the Double XP Weekend will run between December 21 – December 25, and the Mondstille Event will run until January 9. The event and Double XP Weekend will arrive to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in a couple of weeks.

Patch 1.4.0.2 has just gone live addressing some issues that arose with Patch 1.4 'Back to Ubersreik' as well as some balance tweaks and localisation fixes. The notes are below:



Localization
  • Various localization fixes to Simplified Chinese, Polish, and English languages.

Weapons
  • Kruber's Sword and Mace: These weapons should feel, and play nicer now that we've correctly configured settings for hit-impact sounds, hit-stop animations, precision sweeps and impact vectors. We've switched the heavy attack damage templates to the heavy one-handed versions. These weapons should now count and proc like heavy attacks while also increasing damage output by a lot - specifically against armor.

We made changes to the Quick Play algorithm to remedy the problem with seeing specific maps too often. The change to the DLC level access policy was a value proposition change. Adding DLC maps to quickplay for those who do not own the DLC devalued the DLC for many players, so we went back to our Vermintide 1 policy (with some expanded functionality in that anyone in the lobby who owns the DLC enables... Welcome to Patch 1.2.2 - update #41 - for Vermintide 2. Introducing Geheimnisnacht.

Geheimnisnacht is the most ill-omened night of the year, and it is marked as an important date in the Old World’s Calendar. The veil between the living and the dead is especially thin on this night, and the Winds of Magic grow stronger. Only the strong and brave dare venture out after the sun sets.

To celebrate, the sun has suitably set across Helmgart and all the maps will be illuminated by Mannslieb and Morrslieb alone, plunging once bright locales in to dimly lit landscapes of despair.

Welcome to version 1.2.1, release #40. In this release, we're making changes to crafting, adding a new type of crafting material - Bright Dust, adding a new feature with the Social Wheel, changes to how the game handles speed running. And many more tweaks and bug fixes.

The Social Wheel
  • A new feature - the Social Wheel.
    • The default keybind of holding down 'T' will open a popup menu for social interactions. Things like "Help!", and "Patrol!" will be printed in the chat, translated for all players.
    • Also, holding down 'T' over an item that can be picked up, such as Tomes, Grimoires, and Potions, will command bots to pick up the item. Bots can also be ordered to discard Grimoires by looking at the bot and holding down 'T'.

We have just rolled out the second hotfix for the 1.2.1 BETA for Vermintide 2:

Hotfix #2 - 12/10/2018
  • Made the Social Wheel easier to mod by moving out category selection to separate settings file.
  • Added an extra check for the Conflict Director when it's deciding to spawn enemies to challenge speed runners. It will now wait to spawn extra enemies if the player has allies that are awaiting respawn in front of that player. This is to avoid punishing players that go for revives by outrunning enemies.
  • Fixed Missing 2nd grim and 3rd tome on Convocation of Decay.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur if a a body part of a precision target enemy was removed by another player before connecting with the swing.
  • Fixed an uncommon Social Wheel crash that could occur if the pickup unit got removed the frame before you try to give a pickup order.
