It's... in the works :)

It's a suite of apps required to run the game. A lot of games need redistributables to run (such as .net, direct x, visual studio)

We did want to add a season pass so people could commit early to future content purchases at a discount but we weren't comfortable being able to deliver at the pace a pass requires so we backed out.

That's exactly what it is, being downed wounds you and on each difficulty you can have an amount of wounds before getting KO'd and awaiting rescue further down the map:

Recruit: 4
Veteran: 2
Champion and Legend: 1

The multitude of tradeoffs between disk size, loading times and patch sizes as well as how steam's update system works would likely be an entire dev blog just on it's own. The short version is that we most of the time have prioritized patch download size and loading time when given a choice so that levels load fast even if you don't have an SSD.

So, I'm not sure what you are basing these wild claims on, but they're not accurate. If we, for instance as you claimed, stored the zbrush files for all the characters in the game files the game would likely be in terabytes, not gigabytes.

We actually have a mod pack with the real source assets planned (as has been mentioned at previous modding dev streams) so modders actually can get a hold of the uncompiled files to be able to make changes to them, but there is no announced release date yet.

If you want to do steam overlay inviting with a controller (in any game), you need to use steam big picture, that's basically what it's for.

We also have an ingame invite thing in the tab menu believe, I'm not sure if it's accessible without a mouse though (I never use it myself).

Same thing only slightly different.

Now that's some uninspired conspiracy crafting, right there...

First of all, EAC doesn't collect any user data in VT2 as we don't use that module (it's called Hydra I believe if you want to look it up (and it's used for cheat tracking, not ad tracking)).

We have no reason to go epic exclusive nor drop EAC so there's no cause to worry.

We use steam for almost everything; from mods to networking, it would be far too costly even if we had anything to gain by going epic store exclusive.

Just to add to this - unfortunately we can't honour specific requests, such as resetting individual heroes, purely due to limitations in our backend. We can only wipe the account as a whole. :)

Also - if you're looking to make some space on your drive, you could also clear your 'console logs' and 'crash dumps' directories which are located here:

1. Press the Windows key + R
2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select 'OK'
3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2

What worked for me for the VC error was installing everything available here :
https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
This is the proper way yep. Those DLLs all point to Visual Studio so it's best to repair or reinstall the Visual redists.

We have no plans to develop Vermintide 2 for Mac OS.
