Out of curiosity could you try enabling the ‘Small Network Packets’ option within the ‘Network’ panel, to see if there’s an improvement? Whilst you’re in there, do make sure your ‘Max Upload Speed’ represents your actual upload speed.
Please see here for more information on the Connection Timeout errors. Ignore the link in the second sentence, as this will direct you to the solutions you’ve already attempted.
I hear you, we recognise our most common complaints and are deciding how best to proceed, but this can be a lengthy process. We’re working on our next blog post which will cover some of the bases.
So. in the Feedback category, we do a lot of lurking. I know Hedge reads almost every post made here, whereas I’m more Support-based with other platforms to cover so I’m not as involved. Our developers also do a lot of reading, and will occasionally chime in but for the most part we want to keep Feedback ‘raw’ and overly-involving ourselves could be seen as challenging it, which isn’t an impression we want to leave.
Yep, you can actually click on the user’s up the top. Hedge who is the community manager is the most active forum user. Ratherdone is a Dev and also in the top forum users. Julia as well.

Hmmm okay, Type 2 shouldn’t be an issue. Is UPnP enabed in your router?
If I’m honest, no, I somehow only saw your comments afterwards. Could you send me an updated crash report please?
I’ve also had these issues recently, but not always.

There are some mods that are outdated so I’m not using(they’re not on this list), but I’ve been using the following mods for months:
Sorry to hear this. Ideally we need to see the crash report produced to be able to help in this situation. Alternatively, you can upload the console log that corresponds with this particular session.
If your brother is playing on the same network and router and has no issues, I’d suspect this is due to something running on your PC. Can you think of anything that may be interfering with your connection? An over-zealous Anti-Virus/Firewall, VPN, Proxy? Maybe try Selective Startup:
It appears your installation is corrupted. Try to ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ via Steam, or reinstall if unsuccessful. If the corruption errors are persistent afterwards, please see ...
Read moreUnfortunately the crash data I need to see isn’t available when I look up the GUID, meaning I can’t be sure what was causing your crashes, but I’d suspect a GPU driver or overheating issue based on your description. Try performing a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers, disable your overclocks to see if there’s any improvement (it could be unstable) and ...

Secondly, are you playing with any mods - in particular the Player List Plus mod?
This will be resolved in our next patch. Thank you!
Could you please ensure your ‘Download Region’ in Steam is set appropriately to a nearby location?
This has always been around with high cleave weapons that have high attack speed. It happens a lot more now. You can trigger it pretty easily by all camping on the second floor during the burning room event on the map, the pit. When everything climbs up in that hole in the floor, cleave them and enjoy bugged audio.
