Well that's not good. What is your general region? We have different servers that handle different regions and sometimes those separate regions can get different responses for folks.

Was your removal from the game met with an error code that we can check out on our end? Also, do you happen to know what your ping was or if you were connected to the right data center?

We don't have an estimated time,, as it's a degradation and not planned maintenance, but we are working on getting things back up and running!

Thanks for contacting us about this. I'll try to help figure out what's going on. First, are you on a wired or wireless connection? Also, was it just these 2 instances or do you disconnect more frequently?

That's probably the issue then. Wireless is unreliable and prone to disconnects/lag. Especially when the signal has to travel through walls and/or floors. This gets worse when there are other devices sharing the same connection. It's worse still when anyone is streaming media while you're playing. Until you get wired, or at a minimum, closer to the router, this will continue to happen. You can try changing the wireless channel you're using. That may help. Also, you could try opening the ports for Apex. They are listed here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/.

 

You also may want to try researching powerline adaptors. Those have been a really good solution for many that are too far from the router for a wired connection.

Sorry to hear you've been having trouble with this since the update.

 

Just to clarify, can you try working through these troubleshooting steps to see if there's any improvement? In particular please be sure to check the steps to change DNS and see if that helps out. Let us know how that goes!

Could you please provide us more details on the issue you're facing with the Rainbow Six: Siege servers?
As for the temporary ban you received, please note that they are administered by an automated system with the aim of improving player experience and as such, we are unable to lift them.

We're seeing many of you trying to login at the same time (because hell yeah, new Season). But yes, this is putting some strain on the servers at the moment.

I can confirm we have players online and playing, so it's just the login queues that are seeing issues.
