• Increased the number of fragments of high-explosive and fragmentation rounds of 20 mm cannons of ground vehicles and aircraft.
  
• A bug that could cause the game client to crash after joining a battle has been fixed.

Atomic Thunder event

• A bug that caused the sound accompanying the death of the HOG-7 Hedgie to be heard by all combatants regardless of their range to the point of death has been fixed.
  
• The automatic selection of the spawn point nearest to a capture point has been disabled to evenly spread respawning players.
  
• BMP-2 AP-T and APDS belts removed for the sake of balance.
  
• The AH-1G helicopter for the “western” side has been replaced with the AH-1F for the sake of balance.

• Damage to allies has been disabled.
  
• A bug that could cause the effect of a laser hit to stay in the air has been fixed.
  
• A bug where when selecting an automatic respawn point the entire team would respawn on one point has been fixed.

Dear players!

Not long ago we implemented Unicode nickname support in the game, while new Steam players now immediately get nicknames similar to their Steam nicks with some limitations.

During some technical work on standardizing the existing nickname display, we gained a malfunction leading to the reset of nicknames with some Steam players to nicknames based on their Steam nick.

This issue might also affect some of the Gaijin-accounts already linked to a Steam profile.

We didn't plan to change the nicknames of Steam players who previously changed their in-game Nickname and within 24 hours we will try and roll back these changes for all players in order to return the nicknames or provide the opportunity to change the nickname for free.
