Developers have always had our music produced by real artists for this game, and 90% of it is live recorded (so too is most of all the sounds for vehicles fyi, like we actually send sound teams to museums to record engine, etc sounds wherever possible)

Speaking personally (not as company rep here) Most rb games are a tad short to practice the proper way to play have bombers the way this mode is designed. Since 99% of players spawn in and rush the bases.
What you should be doing, is spawn in, turn almost all the way around And climb, climb. climb, timing your approach to those on the airfield reaching combat altitude so they meet the enemy first. Even if this means the attackers drop any or all of the bases. BC this still leaves the airfield for the heavy bombers to bomb from the safety of high altitude (where the AF AAA cannot harm them, and most of the enemy team has already dropped down to chase attackers or is actively engaging with your own fighters) then you have plenty of speed coasting down to your airfield to allow for a faster return to base.

Hi! Only certain types of vehicles have ammo boxes:

Tank Destroyers, ATGM carriers (the type mentioned in the stat card, not any vehicle with ATGMs), all SPAA and SAMs, as well as ground vehicles with external rockets and bombs (such as the Calliope, M26 T99, RBT-5, Cromwell V (RP-3), Matilda Hedgehog, Magach Hydra).

Since the HSTV-L is a light tank, it won't get an ammo box.

Most likely what is happening is you are hitting the aircraft, and he is just crashing, rewarding you with the kill. It's not that you actually shot it down per se, it's just that the game awarded you the credit being the last player or person to damage the aircraft in some fashion (with no other player causing any critical or major damage causing them to crash).

Personally, I've had good luck alternating APCBC with HE, The goal being kill as many crew members as I can, set fires, and break stuff. You want to try to obtain a good high firing arc so you hit the decks and superstructure vs the hull, barbettes, or turrets head on.
