    • Fixed an issue causing Razorice to not persist on the target applied via Arctic Assault when the Death Knight is not talented into Glacial Advance.

    • Harpoon now pulls you to the edge of a target’s hitbox (was the center).

  • Fixed an issue that could remove the Rogue from Stealth if Vanish duration expired while Subterfuge effect was active.

We recently identified an issue that was impacting the damage and healing done by all War Within trinkets and similar items (cantrips), such as Arathi Demolition Charge’s barrel or Reinforced-Wax Plating.

Today, we’re fixing the bug, and the result should be an increase on all of those effects of almost 50%.

We have some additional changes coming to the game soon today.

• All Artisan’s Acuity has been removed from the first-time crafters’ bonus of trainer-taught recipes in The War Within.
• All Artisan’s Acuity has been removed from gathering journal discovery bonuses.
• An additional 150 Artisan’s Acuity has been added to the one-time reagent bag players receive from the quest “Crafting to Order”.

The last change brings the bag from 200 to 350 Acuity.

We’ve recently deployed a hotfix to the Xal’atath’s Guile affix that addresses its damage not scaling with keystone levels. We will continue to monitor the impact of Xal’atath’s Guile on Beta testers running keys 12 and above and make adjustments if necessary.

For further context, this change was focused on making the 2–11 keystone experience better.

Yes, and we want to get the word out to players who might be counting on leveling through The War Within using first craft XP bonuses.

With a hotfix that is now live to all realms, all Dragonflight profession first craft experience bonuses no longer apply to player-characters at or above level 70.

We’ve just deployed the following additional adjustments to the Beta:

Tyrannical affix

• Health bonus on bosses reduced to 25% (was 30%).

Dungeons

• Reduced all enemy damage dealt by 7% on all Mythic and Mythic+ difficulties.

• Fixed several basic Achievements that were unintentionally missing achievement points.
• Updated several Achievements that were improperly showing as unlearned in Feats of Strength.

  • Resolved an issue causing talent loadout strings to fail to import for Shamans.

• Humans that complete “Ally of the Netherwing” can now continue aiding the Netherwing.

Season of Discovery

• Druid
  • The Wild Strikes aura, which has been limited to the Druid’s party within 20 yards, is now raid-wide with a 100-yard radius.
    • Developers’ notes: For a time, the tooltip will still say that it is restricted to the party. We intend to correct that in the next major patch.
• Mage
  • Frozen Orb damage now correctly benefits from the Spell Power rune.

Before the launch of The War Within, we’re simplifying the Authority of Storms enchant to make it a more consistent option.

The damage will now occur immediately when the enchant activates, rather than granting you a buff which provides a window to trigger the damage multiple times.

We’ll update the tooltip in a future patch.

In order to improve accessibility to the Wild Strikes/Windfury Totem effect, the Wild Strikes aura, which has been limited to the Druid’s party within 20 yards, will become raid-wide with a 100 yard radius.

This change will occur during scheduled weekly maintenance in each region. (Tomorrow morning, August 20 in this region)

For a time, the tooltip will still say that it is restricted to the party. We intend to correct that in the next major patch.

• Rogue
  • Crimson Tempest will no longer cause the Nightslayer 6-piece set bonus to grant two charges of Clearcasting.
• Warlock
  • The Warlock Molten Core tank set now uses the correct 30-second duration for Banish rank 2 (was incorrectly 20 seconds).
  • Warlocks who log out while Banished will no longer lose the effects of Metamorphosis or their Chronoboon Displacer.

• Developers’ notes: To make our raid buffs more equal across varied group compositions, we’re reducing the effectiveness of Arcane Intellect and Chaos Brand from 5% to 3%. We feel this will help to improve the balance of caster heavy versus melee heavy groups when participating in non-raid content.
