What a year it has been for us - Warframe celebrated its 10 Year Anniversary, which is a milestone I never could have imagined when we first launched. We now say goodbye to 2023, and before we go, it’s time to share some thoughts on the past 12 months. The calendar is harshly reminding us how fast time goes by, and it demands retrospective thoughts so we don’t lose sight or perspective. We go into our 11th year next year - we need to bring some learnings with us!
But first, a question: do you have a favourite Warframe from 2023? Citrine? Kullervo? Dagath? Qorvex? Each of these new Warframes came with an Update of varying complexities and size - we’ve added so much this year and learned even more. Highlights and Lessons were common company with each Update and Hotfix - here are some that stand out to me:

Will we get the option to have our alias be the oldest one? Merged from pc originally to switch and just did a link with a new pc one, but it only took the new PC one as my account name.
Edit: already opened a ticket and very excited to be able to log in after work. Appreciate the hard work!
As I understand it, you will still have your old name on the Switch and the new name on PC.
Linking/Merging accounts does not actually change account names on the different platforms.

If I may ask, just for the sake of knowledge: is that hotfix planned for today before the drip-gate closes, or is it more projected for a January timeframe? Again, thanks so much for all you guys do!

Any resolution on concole-to-console merges being prompted to create a PC account then getting this red text when trying to merge other consoles into the Primary console?
I think at this point I just want to be told it won't be resolved until January, lol.
We have a fix for this issue but we need to deploy it with a Hotfix (soon).
Our fix should solve the situation for players that merged a new PC account with one of their console accounts.
Explanation by one of our Devs:
Player has console accounts A and B, created before the cutoff.
Player created new PC account C, after the cutoff.
Player links one of the consoles, say A, with C (no merge, this is intentional)
Player tries to connect B and C, the website says they qualify for linking only, even though they should be able to merge
- If they waited, the hotfix will heal them and they should be able to merge
- If they didn't wait and did the link, they should contact support

- They experience their void incident as if it was yesterday - Loid states this when he was rambling about them and his abandonment, like they were some thoughtless heavy duty burden he left behind. Before we get to know their personification and before the Arthur introduction, making it seems like a careless after thought. - AKA their wounds are still fresh. (Duality of the void)
- They became (human level) sentient, moments before their trauma's
- Every so often when the murmer level gets too much, they get void taken over and become mouth pieces of the VOID, although unwillingly / unconsciously, but they can recall those moments.
- Tagfer does some form of selfharm
- Tagfer suffers schizophr...
To be clear, they experience the Void incident as though it were yesterday because they were placed into hibernation shortly after the event, and were only recently decanted by Loid.

Actually no. My laptop is a bit old and only uses dx11. No AMD card installed. I think the laptop hardware may just be a bit too old to play with the new graphic mechanics.
Ah, in that case did you try turning off Volumetric Fog Quality?
It's a new setting for the new tileset. Turning it off should give you some performance gains.

Are you running Dx12 with an AMD card? We're currently investigating new crashes related to those.
The current workaround is to switch back to Dx11. That should fix the issue till we have a proper fix.

Bird had to thread a needle, for sure, or it just wouldn't work. I think his earnestness, his defenselessness, his no-internal-monologue openness and his *trust* - combined with a performance that finds the funny, got us something special.
