Hi there! So there is a good chance that the expiration date can be ignored. I can't speak for our EU colleagues, but I know here in NA we have renewed the codes on cards to continue using them despite the listed expiration date.
That being said, I am willing to bet that these codes are likely EU only. As mentioned above, I would try typing in the code to see if it works on NA. If it doesn't, I suggest reaching out to an EU CM via Discord (or the EU Forum if you have an account there) to see if the codes are expired/are only usable on the EU server.

This is a video game. World of Warships - is a video game. It is a video game that has generated billions of hours of entertainment for people for nearly 8 years now. It has also generated frustration for a miriad of reasons - just as any other game does. It is perfectly fine to come and express that frustration in our forums. It is not, however, alright to suggest that your frustration over a video game should result in harm or death. That is absolutely unacceptable for our forums, our game, or anywhere frankly. WG employees are people just like you who are going to succeed and fail at their jobs like anyone else and do not deserve comments like this.

I played Somers for a large part of Season 20 Clan Battles just a few months ago. It was quite relevant for in-game competitive activity.

She's considered to be a great choice in competitive situations, especially when CVs are restricted as she has terrible AA.
She's got a great middle-ground range between 12km and 20km torps, better torpedo detection than IJN torps (though less damage), and she provides a US Smoke consumable for her team. Those do provide a nice pocket for playing back and screening Cruisers to pressure objectives with teammate support as well as torps.
