Heyo Captains,

In the upcoming update 0.8.7 we will have more options to turn off and filter chat.

We hope this will make the game a safer place for our younger captains and keep things cleaner for ones frustrated with the level of communication in chat.

Armory appears to be online on my client.

Could you please close your client, run a check and repair, and reload to see if that clears the issue

Heyo Captains,

We have identified this as a repeated community pain point and in the process now that we have some options available to us, to present them to Lexington and get the game system addressed. It is my goal to get this resolved within a reasonable period.

Hey Col_Nasty,

The number one counter to ships sitting in smoke in a BB is learning to use your spotter plane correctly (if your BB has one). This is a skill that takes time to master but you will see results if you keep practicing. There are also other options you can do but this depends on how far away from the smoke you are and what ship you are in.

Options:

Spotter Plane is first and foremost. Learn to use this consumable and you will see results. There are very few things that are as satisfying doing good damage to ships sitting in smoke.

If you are in a German BB with hydro, you can try and rush the smoke. This is risky because if you are spotted while trying to move to the smoke the ship in the smoke and other ships will shoot you.

The easiest thing to do is just disengage and use your concealment to put distance between you and the smoked area.

Good luck and definitely ...

Could you please provide me a screenshot of the article at this section, and the personal missions section within the game.

As stated in the article, these missions are simply tools for you to help track your progress in the wider contest which has various premium ships available for winning.

I'll nudge URLGuy about it :)

I just tried this myself a few minutes ago, and was issued the US tracking missions.

Can you verify in game by looking at your personal missions to see which ships you received?

Should look like:

Heyo Captains,

We recognise the small oversight on our part with the sudden switch of button order at the end of the article and since resolved this.

Allied Missions are now on the right with the button.

Japanese are now all on the left with the button.

In regards to selecting a mission, please ensure you are signed into the homepage before selecting a side:

When you have selected a side, the buttons will change to look like this:

You can verify your inclusion by looking for the missions in your personal assignments, for example, here are Allied missions:

I'll be keeping an eye on the thread in case there are anymore technical issues, don't hesitate to tag me.

Heyo Mine,

These codes relate to a special Stream Imitative we are in the middle of as detailed here:

https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/community/streaming-of-life/

It is very intentional that the codes are only valid during the duration of the streams they are provided on as a means of motivation for you to check out the streams and to reward those who do.

If you are wanting to receive rewards, be active in the channels they are given away on.

The Military Month Contributor flag does not have to do with Service specifically, it was supporting a Military Based charity, something in which all players can have a connection to, and is not limited to military members.

As I mentioned, there are currently, and we have plans in the future to have more in game items to represent, respect, and commemorate those with military connections.

It will not be being removed.

You are not "losing" progress, that would imply a backwards step. You are opting to focus on another area instead of progressing, a decision that has is up to each player to make for themselves in regards to whether toe available rewards are worth it in exchange. We recently ran the summer series event which gave players the opportunity to gain more meaningful rewards (including a free T6 premium), this data will be assessed and determined whether we do similar reward structures in future. PTS also comes with the innate reward of accessing and seeing new content ahead of its release.

We are monitoring level of PTS participation, and have means and programs to enact if we deem necessary.

Your opinion of the CV rework is not the sole representation of the playerbase. While there were definitely issues with its implementation, and balancing took a little longer than we forecast, ultimately the data points (which were shared with CCs at Summit, and then...

Heyo Captains,

Firstly, for all of you who are Veterans of the various forces, we at Wargaming thank you for your service.

The Military Month Contributor flag was a final reward for a Charity Campaign benefitting Fischer House in May 2016, in which Wargaming Pledged to donate $1 per a mission completed up to $100,000 across Ships, Tanks and Planes. The full details of the event are documented here: https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/general-news/military-appreciation-month-2016/

As with anything in life, events come and go, if you were not there during them, it is unreasonable to expect to receive the rewards for that event simply on the premise that they relate to you. Rewards are not retroactive.

From the event, we did recognise that those with the flag no longer used other flags availa...

Hey wildgooseman,

This is for you to be able to track how many wins you get over the course of the event and how many times you meet the requirements of the second mission.

Do not worry about the numbers listed =), just play and know you can see your progress!

Comment

Maintaining such a list is really not feasible, furthermore, in game development, things and priorities can change and be pushed back depending on a variety of situations. We do not want to timeline a fix, build excitement, then have to push it back.

Adding a list in which Dev staff have to keep updated - in all languages, only takes away time from working on and resolving issues.

While I can understand why you may be frustrated from receiving a similar answer in similar situations, it doesn't make the answer any less correct.

Bugs and issues are consistently being worked on, they however do have to be prioritized in regards to what impacts the post players and game play over what players simply find annoying.
