Hey there! Hopefully I can provide a response to a few of your concerns if I might. Thanks for raising these questions and let me address the following:

Based on the data we have from the last 6 months, CVs aren't quite as popular as they were right after the rework, there are certainly more folks playing them than there were prior to it. While sentiment may have wavered over time (the AA changes in the last update weren't performing as we liked), for the most part CV players seemed to either enjoy the new system or have adjusted.

There is animosity from some surface ships towards CVs and while I'd argue there is certainly more is that because of the rework or is that because there were a lot more CVs? Was that animosity lowered after the AA changes in 0.8.5?

Your third point I'm afraid is not accurate. A good chunk of what our team does every single day of the week is read through every single thread and post we can on...

As a DD Main this VERY important. Giving the enemy DD more to think about than just me gives me a base advantage. All it takes is one of those massive shells to connect and suddenly that BB has the DD's attention.
And nothing gets a DD's player attention more than being hammered by 14 inch and bigger shell. Even an over-pen will clock a chunk of HP. It may shake him enough to make an error your DD can exploit. Your DD will appreciate the support and perhaps be bolder in spotting and screening for the BB's. Just my thoughts.

In the times of the White Star heyday as the premier passenger liner, the British government always had a hand in the passenger and cargo industries.

Even to the point of financially providing assistance, see Cunard and White Star merger during the great depression as the most obvious example.

Big shipping always saw it in their best interest to work with the interests of the government and visa a virsa. My question would be how much compensation did they pay to the ships lost during WW1 and WW2 to those transport companies? If anyone knows please answer here as I would be curious to see what the answer is.

@Wows_Nightly_News if it would help preserve living history, aka save ships from the scrap yard, I would be the first one signing up to stay in the Hotel John F Kennedy.

It could be the first hotel with a nuclear reactor. In all seriousness, this could be a viable idea to save ships from the "trash heap of history" and instead make them viable pieces of living history.

Thanks for the idea and heads up.

Hey Edgecase,

Thanks for your feedback. With your idea when it comes to the "I am using radar" line, how would you go about letting everyone else know? Would the mini-map pulse or something?

Hey Captains,

With the proposed changes to in-game chat, what are your thoughts?

Do you feel this is a welcomed addition to the game? Why?

A question for those above or those that have a good amount of games in the USS Georgia.
Would you consider it a high skill level ship, for a tier 9?

@BC_master_kush_CA_2019 , the advice from @SireneRacker is solid.

In addition, be sure to check out videos and help guides on the USS Georgia.

Hey Markk9,

Congrats on unlocking one of the most versatile ships in the game! I see that you also have Ovechkin on there as your captain. There are plenty of players on the forums that love to play the Des Moines and would be glad to give you some tips on how to play it correctly.

Again, congrats and have you had a chance to play a few matches?

I run similar to @AnIolairGhorm . B For the "Just in case" offensive firepower unless running ops or situations when I know there will be planes or likely planes. As much as I try to stay 6 K away as a plan, there are times having the "defensive" Torpedo option has saved my bacon.
The nice thing about this ship is that it DOES offer you a definitive choice on how you want to set it up.

I really do enjoy playing the Le Terrible, @HyPHerFaZe.

One suggestion for release day, take out any DD's or cruisers you want to test so you may learn which work best against the many French DD's that likely will be playing those days.

AS a DD Main I am very curious to see how the different tier French DD's, with their guns and speed will match up vs there rivals. If nothing else but to learn how I might need to modify my DD play style when facing them.

Hey Captains,

Looking at this screenshot the OP's team is setup to contest B if needed and also to move into B if the opportunity arises. OP, looking at where you died it seems you went off on your own to the cap that the enemy had in control. The match is also 6 minutes old, so there is a lot that can still develop as the game goes along. A Ranked game is not a sprint and the longer you are alive the more impact you can have on the map. I also see there are no DDs in this game so capping the "neutral" cap is going to be tougher.

Question: What was your thought process to go to the cap alone in an Atlanta and not stick with your team by B?

You say that you were the only one "pushing up" but looking at the map the rest of your team stayed together and could concentrate fire on the enemy, while you seem to be the one out of position and died for it.

This is a great example of positioning matters and it is a t...

Thanks for the video and advice @Destroyer_KuroshioKai.

For me, it depends on the guns per ship. The 150's of the Z-39 I will go AP much sooner than the US 127's and especially the 100 MM of some the IJN ships.

@Destroyer_KuroshioKai, do have any of the ships that you WOULD NOT us AP?

This particular change is in testing and will impact not only the Conqueror but the Monarch, Duke of York, and King George V. Yes it will have a larger citadel to bring it in line with other BBs, but it's being offset by an improved Repair Party to mitigate some of that damage.

Hey @MakersMike in order to participate in Rogue Wave you needed to complete 70 battles in any game mode and it sounds like you just hit that threshold. It'll still be available for a few weeks so there is still time to get in quite a few games.

We're glad you are enjoying it! It's certainly not for everyone but it let's you take a break from the day to day Ranked/Random/Clan modes and let's you jump in for really short sessions.

Hey Khafni,

It is good to see that you are trying the Saipan out in Co-Op before you take her into random battles. This is a good way to learn the basics of the ship and to feel like you won't be a hindrance to your team when you do go to randoms. When you did go to randoms it looks like you are more than holding your own =). The only way you are going to get better in a ship is admit that you are not perfect and have room for improvement, you have done this and it is admirable.

Keep up the learning of the Saipan and the results will come! Good luck on your free XP grind =).
