The USSR at this time were cash strapped and finding a way to clear out some inventory while getting cash in return likely was seen as an easy win.

That being said I wonder if Pepsi had kept them if they would have named them after their other drinks? we could of had the Pepsi Fleet Ship (PFS), Mountain Dew? Or the PFS 7-UP Heavy cruiser?

Yes, being on the WRONG end of a shot from those Guns in my HMS Nelson was a wee bit painful. You played the ship and position well sir.

As a DD main this pains me with the accuracy of how this meme.

The only worse feeling would be having this happen to a ship with a captain lacking Last Stand skill.

Captains, any of you have the same type of match as this?

With all due respect, I worked on Star Wars Galaxies and while I was not on it during NGE, I was a player. This has very little if nothing at all in common with that event. This is not a licensed product, the NTC isn't a reimagining of the game, and most importantly we listened to community feedback on this.

The NTC is about creating other avenues of content for veteran players with reasonable rewards and that's what the the team will continue to focus on. As we have more information further down the road, we'll share it and look forward to your thoughts.

Hey guys, I can clarify this situation for you.

This activity with Magui is an experiment. We want to test waters with a native speaker as a host, which is definitely a different approach from simple Dasha's voice dubbing. Depending on the impact we see on our Spanish-speaking player base, we might consider doing the same for Brazilian players. However, we don't consider such approach for English speakers.

The biggest disadvantage of filming a local actor - such videos will be always published with a few days of delay. All videos with Dasha are prepared just in time for the update and there is no way to film everything in advance. Our global English-speaking player base would not be happy to wait for so long.

If only Dasha could speak English, we would film her twice to cover both languages. Unfortunately she only speaks Russian.

Tips on Early Match Actions!

Hey Captains,

Today we are going to go over the early part of the match. We will cover what you do before you even click the "battle button" until a few minutes into the game and the action has started. Now, please note this will not be the same for every ship class, map or tier but we will try to cover it in general terms and give some examples. With the tips in this part of the guide I hope you will become more comfortable in your early match decisions and see how they can lead you to success later in the match.

Before Clicking the "Battle Button":

There are a few things I would suggest you check before you even hit that "battle button". Preparation before you go into battle is something that might be forgotten or downplayed as "routine".

This might sound funny but make sure you are in the correct ship. You don't want to end up in a situation that you go ...

Let's assume there is no poor play from either team involved. Outside of that what is it about the mode which concerns you the most?

Which Tier VIII cruiser do you prefer in a battle: Marine Nationale Charles Martel or the Royal Navy Edinburgh?

Both are capable cruisers with similar main battery guns, torpedoes, and anti-aircraft protection.

While Charles Martel boasts an engine boost and a main battery reload booster, Edinburgh is capable of either mounting smoke or radar as well as the ability to heal.

It's Friday and you need a fighting ship, which do you choose: Charles Martel or Edinburgh?
