I just recorded a video doing a walkthrough. It'll be up shortly.

One way to think about a Homing Torpedo using a visual:

Correct.

If the first set of Torps is locked to Ship A, and the second set of Torps was locked to Ship B, then both sets would be homing on their respective targets until:

they get close enough to go dumbfire


the enemy clears the ping via DCP


or the ping runs out over time.

Order of Events:

Front Torps fired (unguided as no active "Target")



Ship is Pinged. "Target" Active. Front Torps aquire "Target" and will accept no new Targets after that.



Rear Torps fired (guided, as there is an active "Target")



Ship is Pinged. "New Target" Active. No torps are currently targeting this ship as all Torps have received a Target and will accept no new Targets after that.

After you have latched Torps onto a Target, make sure you land a ping on your new target before firing more torpedoes if you want tthem to home in on the new target.

IJN Torpedo Line (Shimakaze) is great, though her torps are visible at distance so they can be unreliable.

European Line (Halland) is quite capable, though less stealthy.

Pan-Asian Line (YueYang) has torps that don't hit DDs, but they are incredibly stealthy since they're Deep Water.

I feel like Des Moines is the DPM king? So, likely US Cruisers.

Not sure if Pan-Asian Cruisers have similar levels of output or not.

IJN Battleships (Yamato) often incorporate Overmatch against other Battleships. This allows them to be a threat regardless of position.

US Battleships (Montana/Vermont) are considered excellent snipers, though they do not provide the Overmatch of other Battleships that the IJN Line does.

UK Battleships aren't snipers per se, but their Healing and general accuracy does often result in a solid long-range threat.

Konception got back last week. Boggzy/Gaishu should be back this week.

Web-Based Events like the Easter Egg Hunt and the current event are done by hand. An Employee has to get all the relevant data pulled and then go about manually issuing rewards. This is why it takes much longer as opposed to something fully coded/automated.

It's not fun to wait a week for rewards, but it is nice to have an event that issues rewards done as a labor of love.

Event Currencies exist for a set amount of time. When that time expires, they are often converted into Credits.

It looks that this system was started back in 2018. It's receiving an update in the coming update.

There's a Free Track and a Paid Track. The Free Track is autmoatically activated and is just getting stuff for free while playing. It's replacing Dailies/Weeklies/Monthlies.

I asked internally and the change log isn't small. As to what was was changed:

Some ships were replaced with lower tier options


Some AI Behavior tweaks

The Operations listed were posing too much of a challenge overall, so the changes should make them more approachable on whole. The average success rate should see an increase.

There's a lot of visual style that goes into the maps, but the primary concern with a map is its gameplay aspect. Once the gameplay is perfected, then large scale art can be applied.

They will enter Closed Testing in 0.11.10, so that would begin with the Patch that is coming in a few days.

The flag adds 5%. The "Enlarged Propeller" skill does not affect submerged speed as of Update 0.11.9 (current patch).

Soviet Submarines are listed with a fast Surface speed for repositioning on the map. They only go half as fast underwater.

Submerged Speeds:

Tier VI S-1: 15 knts


Tier VIII L-20: 14 knts


Tier X K-1: 18 knts

The system updates are not related to Player Reports. The changes help our internal system to better recognize problems and respond to them.
