@GoodtimesPeppe: @bossastudios I would be remiss if I didn't thank you for all of the unique experiences I have had in @WorldsAdrift .…
@Redha1o Heya, The network of Worlds Adrift is built on top of SpatialOS, a proprietary tech. Worlds doesn't run without it, nor can it be hosted outside of SpatialOS's infrastructure. This requirement prevents us from making it P2P or allowing players to host their own servers.
@CringeCftServer Without these, the game just wouldn't run, while removing all these instances would be a huge undertaking in itself.
@CringeCftServer Thanks for the suggestion, Drone - we definitely would if we could. However, the reason why Worlds Adrift (and many large games) don't go Open Source is because they are in part built with third party tools, plugins and licensed code that cannot be shared or open sourced.
@thedarkhog The game design from Premium and F2P are very different things and need to be thought out from the start or, failing that, incur heavy rework to be able to transition. Neither is true for Worlds Adrift.
@thedarkhog Thanks for your suggestion, Dariusz. Unfortunately, a game usually can't transition from Premium to F2P: In order for a free to play game to be viable, it needs to be designed that way.

@Vince_Kun Heya, Shipbuilder etc, I've checked with the team and it sadly can't be done. We like to never say never here, but we've got no plans at the moment to redevelop Worlds
Come and join us at the end of the world event. We'd love to see you there x

@Michcioperz We're discussing it now as updating the website takes a little time & careful movement :) Thanks for the suggestion
@Michcioperz Heya, I assume by open you mean open source? Worlds Adrift is built with third-party tools, plugins and licensed code we cannot share ourselves. Without these, the game doesn't run nor compile. Going over & removing all these is a huge undertaking we cannot commit to.

@Saynttv Hi Saynttv, Island Creator will remain accessible on Steam, however, you will not be able to import any islands you create into Worlds Adrift.
