If you want industrial amounts then you need to build a proper industrial factory. Make more dew collectors or find a mod that makes them produce more bottles each.

Being able to easily produce duct tape and such in the quantities you want trivialize the game and are part of the reason empty jars were removed.

The game is primarily designed for 8-player co-op. Unlike Ark or Rust which are designed for 60-100 players per server.

Most people are playing co-op with friends in private servers or are playing single player.

As mentioned already, we are also kind of in an activity lull that naturally occurs during this time of year, and additionally during this phase of development where a new build is just around the corner.

Yes. Mods don't affect achievements. Only enabling cheats/creative/debug mode will prevent you from getting achievements, and even then they only disable it in the session you use them; if you do your business then disable them and reload into your save you can gain achievement progress again.

They already fixed that exploit.

The problem is there have been many great ideas of opti...

Used to be able to do this. The containers required for the process were removed. Water is already too easy to get.

This is what usually happens when you don't clean out old data before starting a new Alpha.

Moving to the correct forum section. Read the Pinned threads for assistance.

This is one of those things where adding options for too many features just clutters up the options and makes a mess of things. You can adjust this in your own xml files quite easily, and there are a number of mods regarding this that you can simply install as well.

This is a case where the developer fully supporting modding of the game is greatly for your benefit.

Steam workshop isn't better mod support, it's worse mod support. :conwayheadscratch:

The screenshots in the store are from in game; But they're for sure staged. Just like any good photography, The time, The place, The weather, The angle of viewing, What is around you, The position of the sun in the sky relative to everything, the current fog level, the current graphics settings, and more; It all comes together sometimes to make a perfect screenshot. Not every sunrise IRL is amazingly beautiful....But the ones that are, Simply put, are 'Wow.' worthy. There's a lot more that goes into taking a beautiful picture than you might think.

The screenshots in the store are the same- Staged, right place, right time, maxed out resolution for that one shot; God rays are present in game for example, but not visible 100% of the time; they only show up in certain weather conditions/locations/etc

Here's a few user generated screenies from quite awhile back (2020? Mebbe a lil earlier) that demonstrate some god rays/moments of beauty.

Perhaps, I am misinformed. Is Bloodlines not a 3rd party developed game with licenced 7d2d assets?

You are only misinformed on the name. :). Otherwise you are correct: It is being developed by Illogika.

Furthermore:

7 Days to Die won’t even be in early access concurrently with it a... Read more

Advising them to play a version that does not reflect the future of the game is not really a smart recommendation.

Playing insane only turns zeds into bullet sponges. The only real increase in difficulty is that the player takes more damage per hit.

Walk into a cactus for hours to improve armor skills. Yep, logical.
Bonus, you used a bunch of bandages to raise medical.
Or just crafting and firing 10000 arrows to improve archery.

Yeah, it was a "great" system.
It was also advertised from day 1 to be a temporary placeholder.

Not a reason that most people accept, but yes, there was a reason. Several, even.

In essence, they made the bottles behave like all other items that have containers; IE, Gasoline, you never have to have a gas can, you just get a gas item that has a gas can icon, and when you consume the gas you dont get a gas can, it just goes away again. Similarly, the bowls and plates that appear in meal icons, or the way you dont get brass shells back after firing your weapons, etc. Or how you dont get candy boxes from the candy items, or cans from the canned food (empty cans were a thing but were removed for a similar reason actually)

The containers for items are just a nebulous thing that represents the item.

Another reason they were removed is that having access to a refillable bottle, even one let alone being able to craft more with ease, made water survival a complete non-issue- You take your one bottle to a water source, fill it, throw it in the fire, drin... Read more

Somewhat? I will say this is a sore spot for me, as someone who got the console version and then the PC, mainly because it was marketed as a completed game back then.

Don't get me wrong, I feel I got my moneys worth out of both purchases now, but to be "sold" a game when it was still early alpha as if it was finished was poorly done. Heck, in store they were playing the 7D2D ad on their regular tvs as well as the...

To the best of my knowledge the devs have no intention of removing the alpha builds from the beta list.. So you should be able to continue to play them.

Will it be the same full release as this PC full release? Will there be any alpha or build from the PS4 version involved? IE will it actually be the real 7 Days to Die, not like the appalling PS4 version previously released? Cheers.
Answering what I can,

Yes, It is being released as a completely new and separate title; The existing console version that was published by Telltale will be being de-listed from the store to prevent confusion.(Which should mean existing owners will be able to play the PS4 ve... Read more
