Regarding turret types, my working hypothesis is they selected shotguns and SMGs because they’re the shortest-range weapon types that made sense to be turrets. Again, this is just a hypothesis but a rifle or other turret using high powered rounds might be expected to pick off zombies at such a distance that you’d hardly see or interact with zombies at all. And they don’t want to waste your CPU cycles simulating a bunch of unseen zombies you have nothing to do with.
AP/HP ammo in loot, sure why not? Traders sell them, so it’s not like they’re exclusively crafted. I’m surprised if they’re not already included.
There’s a plow you should be able to add to the 4x4, intended to help when driving over debris. I do prefer the motorcycle because it can cut through narrow gaps, like when there’s only one meter between a fence and a wall.
