To check if this has been caused by a corrupted file, can you please try verifying your game files, as this can often resolve visual glitches found in-game > https://www.ubisoft.com/help?article=000060529
should this step not work for you, could you let us know if you have changed any settings in-game recently or in your GPU software, to check if it may have had an effect on your game? A screenshot of your in-game settings may help better demonstrate this.

I would also like you to specify the quests you have encountered this orb in addition to 'Of Blood and Gods"

Hey there @archsh3riff. Thank you for taking the time to get back in touch here and share those images. I believe my colleague meant to ask if you could try a different save, such as loading a manual save instead of an autosave, to see if that helps.
Additionally, have you tried verifying your game files? If so, I believe the issue could also potentially be driver related.
