Hi, I read in the system requirements that the game was only 50gb, but I'm downloading the PC standard edition, and the Ubisoft Connect downloader says it will be 112gb. Is something wrong or did the game double in size since it came out last year? Thanks!

The base game is 50GB. The 112GB download size you are seeing includes all of AC Valhalla's additional content and updates that have been made available since it's release.

Thanks for your feedback on this and and I apologise for any inconvenience caused from the system requirements not being updated.
Just so you can note in future, the date our articles on our support site is created (and updated) is posted on the bottom of the page, as you can see here on the system requirements page, so if you are ever checking them after a game has been released for some time and can't see the page having been updated, it could well be outdated as there will have likely been patches. Of course, any additional content added to the game after launch that you own would also add additional space too, but please feel free to reach out to us either here, or social media if you ever want to query the game size with or without additional content, before making a purchase.
