I'm still experiencing this issue, essentially constantly... after around 20 minutes or so of play, either I try to save or the game chooses to do an autosave, and it just crashes to desktop... very frustrating...

I have tried all of the supposed solutions which have been listed elsewhere, including:
> updating Windows (I am Windows 10 Pro)
> updating graphics driver (GTX 1070ti)
> updating all other drivers
> running as Admin
> verify game files
> try lower graphics settings (though this has nothing to do with graphics, it is a game-save issue)
> re-install the game
> my system comfortably meets the game requirements in all areas, including plenty of disk space on the Gen4 m.2 SSD that I'm playing from
> remove peripherals (I'm not using a controller, just mouse and keyboard, so I don't think this is relevant)
> delete both cache directories
> I am playing the ACValhalla_Plus.exe version of the game, as Admin; this solved the hang-on-startup issue, but not this save-crash issue
> Exclude entire game directory from my anti-virus (Avast)

None of these has resolved this issue, nor even made it less common...
Is there ever going to be an actual fix to this issue?

Hey @derelllicht ,

Thank you for reaching out, I'm sorry to hear you've been having issues launching the game!

As you've already attempted so many troubleshooting steps already, could you please open a case with us and send over your DxDiag and MSinfo files so we can take a closer look?

You're also welcome to reach us on Facebook and Twitter.

Thank you!

@derelllicht Hey there! Thank you for sharing how you were able to lessen the crashes. I am sorry to hear that they are continuing though. Were you able to create a support ticket with your Msinfo and Dxdiag and the steps you have already tried for our team to be able to further investigate with you?

@derelllicht Gotcha! Thanks for the information. I am glad to hear that the crashing has lessened but I do apologize they are still randomly occurring. Also to answer your question, yes the crash reports do help! However, when the crashes are very consistent as you were experiencing we always recommend reaching out to us to be able to further investigate steps we can suggest to try.
