Re: [RESOLVED] Unable to enter Skrymir's Mitten during «The Lost Cauldron» | POST HERE](/topic/80273/resolved-unable-to-enter-skrymir-s-mitten-during-the-lost-cauldron-post-here)

Hi there you guys in UBISOFT!

I 'm a new gamer to «ASSASSIN’S CREED VALHALLA» - Standard Edition for PS4 (I own the PS4 PRO Version) and my Game Disc unfortunately is 1.00 Version even so I bought last week ago, and I got the same progression bug problem issue with this Main Quest: «The Lost Cauldron» ( : «Find the Lost Cauldron» : Skrymir's Mitten : Jotunheim) and unfortunately I do not having home internet to make the update patch for fixing this problem.

So, for that, I am asking you: Is that possible/is there any way possible to finish the Main (Basic) Storyline skipping completely this Main Quest and all the following Main Quest(s) by giving them normally after completely/finishing this specific Quest, or for this bug problem it is unable to finish the game (Main/Basic Storyline) and it will be useless to continue playing it?!

P.S.: Because I haven't home internet connection, either the 10 Contracts Side Quest can complete because they need home internet connection too...

Please, help me out because I am a huge fan of Assassin's Creed Series and it is not right and justice to throw the game in the garbage and not finishing the game - especially for that I play straight up way too many hours -night and day- one week straight and not right to throw in that way my money which I spent buying this game.

I cry out for help...!!!!

Sincerely.

@N_T_D Hey there! I'm sorry to hear you encountered this issue, and that you aren't able to update the game to get the fix.

This quest is required to complete the Jotunheim Saga, and by extension, the Asgard saga. However, you'll still be able to complete the main storyline and reach most of the other content in the game.

You may be able to get around the issue by loading a save game from before the start of that quest. In order to update the game, you could also use a mobile hotspot or bring your console to an internet café. I understand this isn't a perfect solution, however.

Thanks for the response @N_T_D.

We're a lot busier than usual across our support platforms, including the Valhalla Discussions. As such, there's been a delay while we work on responding to everyone's posts.

We appreciate your patience at this time.

As a fix has been pushed for the issue already, there's little we can do to assist here without the update version being installed.

Could you please elaborate more on the issues you're experiencing at the end of the story too?
