I recommend giving the steps from this FAQ a try if you haven't already to rule out any potential conflicts. -Has the asset been hanging in the air since before you got there?
-Does it continue to hang if you try reverting to an earlier save?
-Can you please provide a video showing you're unable to move the asset?
