So I saw a very similar issue from last year, but this one was slightly different. I started the battles for Test Your Metal and completed the daggers and short sword one just fine but when I went to try the two shields, I hit the circle button to skip through her explanation of how the battle would work but instead of seeing the cutscene for the battle starting, nothing happened and I was left in the ring alone. I figured it was a bug so I left and did a main storyline quest or two. About 2-3 hours of gameplay later, I decided to fast travel across the map and saw the expected cutscene from the TYM battle. After that, the navigation bar at the top of my screen was gone and I had the two shields from the battle. I traveled back to the ring to see if I could cause it to stop having that issue but when I arrived, everyone was cheering and the challengers were just standing in the ring. I couldn’t fight them or cancel out of the battle. I found that going on a raiding trip with Vahn and coming back put me back in the ring where I could fight them. It only let me fight the first round though and then round two left the opponents just standing there like they were in the first round. So as I type, I’m waiting for the game to load after a second raiding trip (go there and immediately come back) to see if it will force the next round to start or not. I’ll be forfeiting the fight and never doing the challenge again because I’ve currently been waiting for it to load for about 5 minutes now… I quit the AC series because of an issue with Black Flag and so far this first venture back into the series is seriously making me want to never play any of them again. Speaking as a QA analyst, please take these notes and try to fix the issue..

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and I'm sorry to hear that you were unable to face enemies in the ring.

Can I kindly ask you to provide us with a short video of this occurring, so we can investigate it further for you? Secondly, can you please confirm if you have your latest save uploaded to the cloud?

Sorry to hear that this issue is disrupting the festival and general gameplay after it occurs.

In addition to what Ubi-Mark requested, could you please also let us know which platforms you're playing on, so we can try to identify where the issue occurs?
