I don’t have a video or screenshot for this, as the issue has been resolved, but I wanted to make a note about this to help any other players that may experience this problem. I wanted to put this in Player Support as it relates to a possible server bug/glitch. If a mod decides to move this elsewhere, that’s fine, but I am reporting a problem with the Ubisoft servers along with a workaround solution.
Today, Reda offered the Dragon Knight Hood (Shining) for his daily offering. I purchased it in Svartalfheim and completed some quests there, but upon returning to England, I noticed the hood was gone from my inventory and Reda (in England) had the item as unpurchased even though the Opals had already been deducted from my account. I figured there might be a problem with Ubisoft’s servers, so I completely reset my game and loaded my previous save from before purchasing the item for the first time. As luck would have it, the server connection seems to have reestablished itself and returned the hood to my inventory.
TL,DR: If you buy an item from Reda and it disappears from your inventory after fast traveling, reset your game to force the Ubisoft servers to reinitialize their connection to your account. It ‘should’ work...
