This is getting ridiculous. Alder Lake has been out for over a month now, probably much longer in the hands of large companies like UbiSoft and STILL no word about a 'fix' for a broken DRM system.

The Gigabyte workaround is sketchy at best.

So, how about it UbiSoft, when can we expect you to deliver a patch that fixes Valhalla for the 12900K?

Hi @crewone and @LeshrachMajere !

Sorry to hear you're still experiencing the issues with next gen Intel processors! Could you please make sure that your game is fully updated to TU 1.4.1?

This update should resolve most of the issues for Alder Lake users!

If you have any further questions, or require further assistance, let us know!

Hello @Phat_Monkey and welcome to Discussions! Please accept my apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

Did your game crash on launch or was it during the game play?

We are aware of an issue that can affect performance in some games, including several Ubisoft titles, when playing on systems outfitted with 12th Gen. IntelCore Processors.

Intel has posted an official workaround on their website. Please be aware, however, that this workaround involves modifying settings within your PC’s BIOS. Incorrect modification of BIOS settings can cause serious damage to your system, including irreparable loss of system functionality. To ensure the safety of your system, if you attempt the workaround, we strongly recommend that you contact Intel and your Hardware Manufacturer directly for assistance with completing the steps involved.

Details of the workaround can be found via this link. Contact details for Intel Support can be found here. To find the contact details of your Hardware Manufacturer’s Support Team, please visit the manufacturer’s website. Please note that Ubisoft accepts no liability for any damages caused in the process of completing the workaround provided by Intel.

Feel free to get back in touch if you need us.
