Hello Support,

I tried to climb up the Black Peak Highpoint, near the town Grantebride.

If I get near the mountain Black Peak the game crashes to desktop. Till yet I can walk through the landscape without problems, only Black Peak crashes to desktop. I can't find any events on the Eventlog of my system, that indicates a driver problem, or something else. Got an idea?

Hello @Suslik21,

Sorry to hear that your game keeps crashing.

Can you please provide us with your full PC specs, so we can have a look? Secondly can you please perform all of the troubleshooting steps listed in this article? This will help you to eliminate any potential software conflicts.

Many thanks and if you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Thank you for providing these specs, @suslik21. I've verified against our system requirements for Assassin's Creed Valhalla that your system meets them, so you shouldn't be encountering any compatibility issues at the very least.

We have been seeing increased reports of crashes with NVIDIA GPUs lately however, so I'm wondering whether you have tested rolling back your drivers and/or performing a clean installation of the latest drivers? You can download them for your GPU from NVIDIA's website here if not, and I would ask that you try this. Could you also let me know whether climbing a different high point in another area of England / Norway has the same effect on your system, or if it is only this one high point at Black Peak?

If it is just the one high point, a video showing the issue and the crash you are seeing would be helpful, if one can be captured using screen recording software. You could also record a video on your mobile phone or another device, so long as the details on-screen are visible.

Thank you in advance for any additional information and/or resources provided, and I hope that you have been having a nice weekend so far! 🙂

Hey there @suslik21, just checking in to see if you've had any progress following your driver rollback?
