I have all the Berserker things as I pre-ordered the Ultimate version of the game. I've read of this bug but can't remember where. Today Reda is selling the Odin Wooden Statue, part of the Berserker settlement pack and I can buy it for 35 opals. I just checked the settlement decoration interface and it is present there. Surely a picture or video is unnecessary here, I don't need to prove that I own the version as I'm not asking for anything.

@spirantcrayon22 Thanks for reporting this, I can confirm that it has been reported previously, however the development team were unable to reproduce it.

I have informed them of the new report so that they can investigate again.

Hey there @SpirantCrayon22!

The developers have reached out to us, and would like to confirm the following details / request the following resources from players affected by this issue whereby already acquired items can be bought again for Opals:

  • Can you please confirm if you were able to successfully purchase the duplicate item, and saw Opals deducted?
  • If/when attempting to purchase the duplicate item, did you encounter an error message at any time stating that you had reached the maximum limit for that item?
  • Can you please specify any other items that you have experienced this issue with, or if it has just been the Odin Wooden Statue?
  • If it was possible for you to make a successful purchase despite already owning the item in question, do you have a video showing this that you could share with us?


Please do provide the details / resources requested if possible for you to do so, as they'll be a big help to the team in investigating the issue! I'm afraid that I cannot speculate as to whether any of the spent Opals will be reimbursed or compensated (if you did spend any), but I've also asked the team about this and will keep you all updated with any news I receive.

Thanks for letting me know that you didn't attempt to buy the item, @spirantcrayon22 - I've advised the development team of this now. In the meantime, I can see that they were able to reproduce the issue with being able to purchase already owned settlement decorations with a different item (Loki's Statue) so this is good progress! 🙂 Thanks again for your report!

Hello SpirantCrayon22 and bielik01, thank you for this information.

We are aware that some items purchased from the Animus Store, redeemed off the Ubisoft Connect rewards, or from DLC purchases, can become available to buy again in Reda's shop.

This can also affect other areas of the game, for example, I have the ultimate edition with the Berserker pack installed, but I am still able to purchase this from Ubisoft Connect for 60 Connect units if I wanted to (this feedback has been passed onto the AC team)

If you find any more examples of owned items, being offered for sale or redemption in Reda's shop or elsewhere, please let us know and we will pass this onto the team.

@SteveZ_Pun, in future, would you mind translating the item names into English? I was able to translate the name this time with the help of a colleague, but as we can only provide support in English on these particular forums, it would be helpful to also have the translated names available to us to refer to. If I - or whichever support agent is assisting you - is familiar with the item in question, it's easier for us to recognise them, but for any items we're unfamiliar with, it's always helpful to have the name in English so that we can search through the resources we have available to us and check for any existing reports, @stevez_pun.

I appreciate the efforts you're already making to provide the images and report the issues to us, but as I'm not a native German speaker, I can't understand the text of your images without assistance from a German-speaking colleague. We ask that all support queries posted on the English forums are posted in English, so having the images with translations would make sense for us as well to ensure ease of supporting you and other players. I hope that this makes sense! Thank you. 🙂
