Can anyone offer any advice on how I can fix its? it is beyond infuriating.
My pc is more than able to run this game, but even when I play on the lowest settings my fps tanks every few seconds. I've tried a lot of different things such as disabling background programs and overlays, I've updated my drivers, changed the priority in task manager, disabled full screen optimizations, turning off the windows gaming functions, changing the graphic settings and limiting the fps. But I'm out of ideas now, so any advice would be helpful.

Hey @pharos21-0

I'm sorry to hear you are getting FPS drops and thank you for letting us know what you have tried already and providing an image showing your systems specs. I know it sounds weird to do, but you could try setting your CPU to only use 6 or even 4 cores by disabling some and then see if this makes an improvement to it. You can do this by going to Start > Run > msconfig > Boot tab > Advanced options > Number of Processors and tick the box for the number of processors and select how many to use.

Let us know if this helped at all.

@pharos21 Thanks for the update, and sorry to hear that did not resolve the issue for you! If you haven't yet, please be sure to go through all of the steps in our guide here. It sounds like you've already tried some of them, but want to be sure we're giving everything a shot and seeing if it helps.

If the issue continues, would it be possible to get us a short video clip showing the FPS drops at random? It'd be great if you could get a video showing the FPS at higher graphics, and then at lower graphics (as you mentioned before, it happens even with lower graphics). Once you have that video, please upload it to a website like YouTube or Twitter and share the link with us here.

Thanks!
