I started playing valhallla on my ps5 on the end of august, through ps plus extra. at the start it all worked fine.

I also played AC2 around the same time and I noticed my in-game stats aren't the same as my stats on ubi connect (playtime, etc). I unlinked and relinked my psn account from my ubisoft account and it fixed and it was all fine. however, a few weeks later when I was playing valhalla and opened the ubisoft connect overlay after completing a challenge, I saw that this challenge, and some other challenges I had made progess in, didn't sync, and it was like that for a while, nothing synced. the core challenges, timed challenges and stats all stayed the same. I've tried to do a ton of stuff, unlinking and relinking my psn and ubi accounts, logging out of my ubi account and even deleting valhalla from my ps5.

nothing worked.I don't know how but after some time it started syncing again, but not entirely. the playtime stat is still stuck on 26 hours (even after everything else started syncing again it stayed the same), even though my ingame saves say I have 56, and not all of the core challenges were updated (those which are about progress, like the orlog and avenging other players), even though any challenge from this point forward was updated upon completion (even though the playtime still isn't updating and I have no idea if the other stats aren't updating as well, even though i think they do).

however, even though it worked completly fine 2 days ago, it stopped syncing again, and I don't know what to do anymore. by this point I have quite a few challenges I completed and it didn't sync, and I cant complete the remaining timed challenges as well (2 are already completed from when it worked a few days ago), but the other ones are not updating even though I already cmpleted one and made serious progress in the others. I really don't know what else can be done, but it's super annoying and doesn't allow me to just enjoy the game.

I heard update 1.62 just came out so maybe it has something to do with that (I also saw a notification that valhalla was updated on the ps5 yesterday or the day before that) but I don't really know. It's weird cause it's just this game. I have Far Cry 6 annd Watch Dogs: Legion on my pc and they both work just fine and I've never had any issues with either. I've seen other people having that problem around the forum at different times and at different devices but it all seems to be about valhalla.

I'm planning to buy it in a month once it leaves ps plus extra but I have a pretty hard time with that so I don't know.

This issue should have been resolved by now. Have you made sure that your game is fully up-to-date with the latest patch?

It seems like the challenges not tracking in Ubisoft Connect may be due to a connection issue. I recommend using a wired connection if possible, to ensure the best connection to our online services.

You may also need to port forward for AC Valhalla, which I know can be tedious but I do recommend it just to be safe. The ports you need to open can be found in this article. Here is another article explaining what port forwarding is and its benefits, but for further assistance with it you likely will need to reach out to your Internet Service Provider since it requires access to your router.

Apologies for the confusion! We were not trying to place blame on anyone's hardware or personal network. We typically suggest those troubleshooting steps to eliminate as many possibilities as we can and further narrow down the cause of the issue. The steps are intended to improve connection quality overall and confirm that your network is communicating with the online services as effectively as possible.

With that said, while this issue may not be affecting other titles and you may have an X-many mbps upload, we still prefer to tackle these troubleshooting steps to save time and make our investigation team's jobs easier.
