Today’s the day: after much anticipation, Albion East is now publicly accessible to all players!

Following a successful Closed Beta phase, and an early access period for Founder Pack owners, anyone can now play on Albion’s new, Singapore-based server as this entirely fresh version of Albion develops from the ground up. Players are pouring into the Royal Continent and Outlands, gathering, crafting, building the economy, and progressing their characters as they gain Fame and form guilds. Albion's Living Legacy returns! On the eve of Albion Online's sixth anniversary, statues of seasons past have awakened and can be found throughout the world. As these statues are tributes to conquerors, they are hostile and will employ a wide range of weapons and magic. They can also drop unique, limited rewards when defeated (details below).

This was quite an intense weekend. A weekend that, unfortunately, was nowhere near as smooth as anyone would have hoped and that fell short of the frictionless experience we want to deliver for our players.

The DDoS Situation
Let’s start with the most obvious thing: the ongoing DDoS attacks. Throughout the weekend, we saw a number of DDoS attacks against several parts of our infrastructure. The good news is that we, in cooperation with our server host, could react quickly each time and managed to stop individual attacks. The bad news is that, since the attacker is extremely dedicated and creative in their efforts, it is likely to take some more time to fully prevent them from having any impact on Albion Online’s systems. We and our server host are working tirelessly on proper solutions for healing the frustrating situation. We are committed to overcoming this problem as soon as we can.

For this update, we are not coming to you with new numbers, but instead a general update and some context.

As you may have noticed, the number of bots found in the game is, at least for now, on a significantly lower level than it was in the majority of the past few weeks. That’s good. We’re seeing it too.
That means that a combination of our efforts has yielded tangible results. We have gotten a large number of bot accounts out of the game, and found ways to make it harder for them to get new accounts back up and running.
You are seeing the results, we are seeing the results - the person(s) running the bot farms are also seeing the results. And while you, adventurers, and us are very happy about the results, the people running their bot business are not. Very much so, apparently.

Although we have removed many accounts involved in fraudulent activity, we are constantly monitoring and improving our processes while looking for further technical solutions. Your reports on suspected cheaters (bots, speed-hackers, scripters, macroers, and so on) are very helpful and massively appreciated.

We are happy to inform the community that in our continued efforts to rid the Albion Online realm of the aforementioned cheaters, as well as accounts involved in RMT and those benefiting from them, we have now banned nearly 104,000 accounts since March 20th, 2023.

The Championship will take place in the offseason.
This time the CLC will be different from previous seasons, with two tournaments taking place over the weekend.

EAST server CLC Saturday, June 10th: 10:00 UTC - 15:00 UTC
WEST server CLC Sunday, June 11th: 17 UTC - 22:00 UTC

• The above end times are approximate, depending on how long matches go on.
  
• Battles will be Non-Lethal AND hard-capped at 1800 IP. Players will have to bring their own gear.
