Energy Surge Season
Between Guild Seasons 13 and 14, there will be a shorter standalone season with its own unique rules and schedule. This season will be called the Energy Surge season, as it will offer increased Invasion Days that are much closer together than usual, and with greatly increasing Season Point rewards and Siphoned Energy rewards each time. The Season Point Score will also qualify guilds to determine the Hideout HQ declaration rights for Season 14.

Hi everyone!


As you already know, with Season 14 you will be able to declare your Hideouts as Headquarters for the first time!

However, some questions have come up in the community regarding this feature that we would like to answer in this post.

There will be no Hideout Headquarters inside the Roads of Avalon in Season 14 and you will not be able to take power cores into roads.

This is due to the following:

  • Transporting power cores through the roads would defeat the original purpose that these cores had, which is to make sure that one cannot sustain more than a certain amount of HQ's around a specific area.
  • It was considered to have power cores spawn in the roads separately, but we believe that the road hideouts deserve more than a band-aid solution.

Hey there,


for everyone getting the Error 203 in the launcher OR the 404 Error when on mobile:

we are aware and looking into it. We will update you here and on discord once it's fixed.

As a workaround, you can start the game directly from executable Windows: AlbionOnline\game -> launch_albion_online.exe or MacOS: Settings in launcher -> Game Folder -> start the app there

Update (Talion): Theoretically the issue should be fixed now. It might take a few minutes for all changes to go through caches along the way. Should be good to go though.

Hey everyone,

We have updated the chart below with the most current information on Outlands zones. Most importantly, this chart now includes the Quality Level of each zone. While this information can be obtained ingame based on a zone's crafting bonuses, there is not yet a specific way to obtain this information directly.

Please note that Territory Season Points can be further increased by a factor of 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 or 2 by raising your Tower Level through Crystal League matches. For more information on that, visit: ... Read more

After the release of today's patch, players are unable to enter Hideouts while they are being upgraded. We are working to resolve this issue but do not currently have an ETA for when this will be fixed.

Until further updates, please assume the entrance of any Hideout under construction cannot be used. Note that this issue only affects the entry area from immediately outside the Hideout; Travel Planners can still be used to travel to and from a Hideout if it is set as the player's "home".


*UPDATE: there is also another bug since the patch today: when exiting a hideout you receive the invulnerability buff normally, but once you start channeling to get back in you are able to receive damage even though the visual effect of the buff is still there. Taking damage will interrupt the channel. This only happens to players who do not have their home set in the hideout.

The Energy Surge Season starts September 25, featuring a shorter 6-week structure, accelerated point multipliers, and unique one-of-a-kind rewards for the top guilds. In anticipation of this unique standalone season, today's patch brings changes to Guild and Faction Warfare, quality-of-life improvements including new Nametag options and better Usage Fee notifications, and new artifact drops in the open world.

The next guild season starts Saturday, with a shortened 6-week schedule and steadily increasing Energy and Point Multipliers. The top 600 guilds will also earn the ability to designate an HQ Hideout in Season 14, and ranking guilds can earn unique avatars, a one-of-a-kind winner statue, a Fame Boost, and more.

Call to Arms Patch 10, Hotfix 1 - Version 18.101.1

Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where entrances did not work for Hideouts that are being upgraded
  • The Protection Bubble granted after leaving a Hideout will now correctly protect against damage when channeling to re-enter the Hideout
Note for iOS users: while this Hotfix awaits approval by Apple, these bugs will remain in the game for iOS. However, the older client version will remain compatible and allow iOS users to continue playing the game.

Hi everyone,

I’m here to provide a quick update on our development progress and what you can look forward to in the coming weeks and months!

In our last roadmap update we gave you a first insight into our plans for Albion’s next Content Update. We announced that we’re planning to renew Open World gameplay in Albion Online, and since then, we’ve been working hard on making those plans become a reality. Soon we’ll be ready to begin sharing our progress in a new set of devtalks!

Next to these planned features, we’ve also looked at the feedback we’ve received on our Roadmap. Many of you asked us to also take a close look at power balance in the Outlands, and so we did.

The current strategic balance in the Outlands encourages large power blocks to form, and these power blocks in turn have an incentive to discourage conflict and raise a stable income by demanding rental payments from guilds under their protection. Enforcement of rental payme... Read more
