We usually aim to release new DLCs at 6pm CEST, which is noon EST and 9am PST. That allows us to release the DLC simultaneously across Uplay, Steam and Epic Game Store.

The Game Update with the balancing changes is coming on June 2.

One little question, will the ornament pack(the poll you put out early, where city life won) be released in this update aswell? Or that will come later?

No, that will come later in the Summer, as we just started working on them now as the voting came to a close.

Excellent timing!

Is there any chance of a game update adding more content and tiers of population to the new world so it can stand on its own instead of being obviously subservient as a needs supplier to the old world?

There are no plans for additional tiers to the New World (and that would definitely not be a Game Update).

The industrial area in the screenshot looks great! When the voting came up for what type of flavor content pack we wanted I was a bit sad not to see anything more generic / industrial but hey, here we are :D

That’s why we did not include them in the voting:)

I hope I'm not blind but the post doesn't say anything about whether tractors will be available in the new world. I hope they will, pretty please?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you may want to consult an optician, cause the blog not only says tractors are in all sessions, but even includes a screenshot of a tractor in the New World ;)

Strictly fuel, which is produced with oil.

Civ DLC, EU4 DLC, Anno DLC

Coming summer I'll be poor and indoors :)

Question: will there in the future be a option to "sponsor" an expedition? So that you can choose the type and destination to limit the rng? I'm still missing a few animals, but get a lot of botanical expeditions that I dont need

Look on the bright side, at least gaming companies try to keep you healthy by staying inside! There are currently no plans for any major changes to expeditions, no.

Bluntly speaking- as long as you have fun, who cares? That is after all what gaming should be about, and if you find yourself enjoying starting over and over again all the time more fun than finishing a game, why should that be bad?

I can even relate to be honest, as I often find the early stages of Total War games as I conquer my first few cities more fun than managing huge empires in the end. I think that is also what makes many of these more sandbox-y strategy games so great- they allow players with different play styles to carve out their own niches and fun zones.

Currently playing on a session with ~300k investors, I just feel that there is currently very little need for extra old-world farm production aside from grapes (and the Department of Labour buff basically solves all Champagne production bottlenecks 😁).

New world produce on the other hand... is a perpetual headache to scale up (new investors like to riot if the bike / coffee / chocolate / cigar shipments are ever late πŸ˜…).

And who knows what new production chains the Land of Lions may bring!

Even better- they will work in all sessions that have farms ;)

Can't wait to see what people's farming islands will look like with some tractors and silos on them!
