MTashed takes you through unlocking blueprints, gathering materials, and generally optimizing your crafting in Anthem™.

Unlocking Blueprints

Using gear and weapons to complete Challenges will give you direct access to blueprints. These blueprints fall into the following rarity categories:

  • Common
  • Uncommon
  • Rare
  • Epic
  • Masterwork

The Challenges you’ll need to complete to unlock each blueprint will depend upon its rarity. So, for example, an Uncommon weapon blueprint may require you to kill 50 enemies, but a Rare one may require you to take out 25 elite enemies. As the rarity increases, so does the difficulty of the Challenge you’ll need to complete.

If you want to unlock the best blueprints for the weapon you love, you definitely can, but until you increase your level you probably won’t have access to...

In the latest server-side update, we’ve made some notable changes to the loot drop rate in specific scenarios, which will take effect immediately in a server-side tuning update (you will not need to download anything.)

These changes include:

  • Masterwork & Legendary drop rates have been increased for Grandmaster 2 and Grandmaster 3 difficulty levels.
  • Masterwork & Legendary drop rates have been increased for harder enemies at all difficulty levels. This includes: Legendary Ancient Ash Titan, Elite Ancient Ash Titan, Legendary Fury, Legendary Ursix and Legendary Luminary.

Blessious takes you through the basics of the game’s matchmaking system and how to earn the most rewards for you and your friends in Anthem™.

Playing with Friends

It’s easy to join friends in missions or Strongholds: just go to “Social” and “Invite Player” then “Friends,” hover over their names and press invite. Once everyone’s joined you’re ready to head out on your next expedition. You can also join friends who are already playing, choose the “Reinforce Friend” option, and select the mission or Stronghold they’re currently exploring.

No Friends Online? No Problem

Looking for people to play with? Click “Social” and “Invite Player” and then the “Recommended” option to bring up a list of suggested players. Again, hover over their names and press invite to get your new squad started. You can also choose “Quickplay” from the “Expedition” screen, to be se...

RoryPlays takes you through the different kinds of gameplay experiences you can choose in Anthem.

Starting in Fort Tarsis, you’ll choose from four primary gameplay options, depending on how much time you have and what rewards you might be searching for:

  • Missions – Story-based encounters where you’ll experience the core narrative of the game.
  • Contracts – Help allies and factions to achieve their goals or solve specific problems. Occasionally you’ll receive a Legendary Contract which is both more difficult to complete and far more rewarding.
  • Freeplay – Freely roam through the world of Anthem, encountering creatures, enemies, and more. You’ll encounter world events, be able to gather resources, find treasure, and explore.

This is what we're looking to solve. We have a lot of info in multiple places like you said and unless you look at everything you're likely to miss something.

Hey Chris,

I think a system to preview and test multiple cosmetics at once in the forge would greatly improve the “fashionlancing” experience but even more importantly it might help sales of armor sets by allowing players to preview a full set of store gear before buying while allowing players to preview store armor sets with paint/vinyl schemes they would like to use with those armors.

I wrote a simple post about this early this morning that gives a quick summary of how I think a preview system could work in the forge.

I also think it would be amazing if there was a preview button on the featured store that would go to the forge and auto equip whatever you selected to preview in the forge. it would be extremely user friendly as well.

I really hope you get a chance to look at my preview idea...

Hey there! Great post and agreed... We have some opportunities with preview in general. Personally, I think good better best looks like full 3d preview -> preview on your current javelin -> preview on any of your javelins. It's going to take some time to get there but if we build towards that in phases we can improve incrementally. Fashionlancers unite!
