When quitting the search for a match I got the notification that I am leaving a match and will be penalized even though the search for a match was still going on. If I then try to join the match I supposedly left I get an "unable to join" error (probably because I wasn`t in the match in the first place). But after a some time (I was in another match by then) I got banned for 30 min for supposedly quitting a match.

Hello JackMcDevin, sorry to hear this, usually you will receive a sanction after receiving a warning for disconnection or leaving a game just before the match is about to begin.

How long were you waiting for a match originally that you decided to cancel the search for?

Can I also ask you how much time had passed between leaving the search for the original match, and the time when you received the ban?

Are you also able to tell us the exact date and time of the sanction so we can check your account?

Hey there.

I think this was likely very unfortunate timing and you left just as you were about to be connected to a game. However if this does become a regular occurrence for you then please do let us know.

@UD_RisKy

If you feel you have been incorrectly banned, you can dispute any action against your EA account by following the steps in this article:

Thanks.

DayZ Staff can not and do not have access to BattlEye global or VAC bans, and can not revoke them in any way possible. You MUST contact the BattlEye (in case of game ban) or STEAM support (in case of VAC bans) about any bans issued on you.

Closing the topic.

You will need to speak to our Terms of Service team @EVEREST_YTT.

The process to contact our ToS team can be found here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/information-about-banned-or-suspended-accounts/

  1. Click Contact us at the top of any page on EA Help.
  2. Select the game that your account was banned or suspended from. If it’s on your whole EA Account, choose Origin.
  3. Choose your platform.
  4. Select Manage my account, then Banned or suspended account.
  5. Fill out any other details below.
    • For example, if you picked Origin, it might ask you if you are accessing the game through an Origin Access membership.
  6. Click Select contact option.
  7. Sign in to your account that has the ban or suspension, if you aren’t already.

Did our TOS team deny your appeal @EVEREST_YTT?

If so there is nothing that we can do to change this on AHQ.

Hey @EVEREST_YTT I'm going to lock this thread as if our TOS team has denied an appeal there is simply nothing that we can do on AHQ to change this.

Hey @Destiny1684,

I'm afraid we are unable to review or change any account actions on the forums.

If you believe an action was taken incorrectly, please be sure to create an appeal with these steps and our Terms of Service team will have a look.

The ToS team will reach back out to you via email once they complete their investigation so please keep an eye out for that, thanks!

Please reach out to support.warframe.com for any account questions. We cannot address account status outside of the support system. I am locking this thread, as we avoid public threads on this to prevent accidental leaking of personal information.

If you are unable to access the support system, you may need to create a new account. Please include any relevant details (such as account name) inside the ticket.
