This may need some troubleshooting. Have you tried a few steps yet to see if they help? What happens if you set up a Clean Boot on your PC before you try launching Apex Legends? Are you still running into the same error? You can find more information on how to set up a Clean Boot check out the EA Help website.
Check also to see if you have the FPS counter turned on? Open Settings > In-Game > In-Game FPS Counter and if it's on, disable it and try again.
Let me know if you're still having the same issues after that.
