@ShephardColby I know I've posted a lot but I've said 2 things that are LIKELY not to happen (wipe/rollback). That's the most I can give you at this point after discussing this over with the entire team.
This would include lifting transfer limitations. Valguero will have transfers disabled for a bit - similar to PC.
New day, Q&A. No recent developments. The plan is still to launch the dupe fixes with Valg and assess the damage. Will everyone just turn their duped items in?
@Minest14 There are no good options. Rollback isn't, Wipe isn't. As much as people think everyone wants a wipe it's going to lose people. We're at the sad reality where very option could likely lose people. So it's not a quick decision to make.
What about the duped items? We're trying to track them and discussing options. As said before there is an aversion to wiping or rolling back. I've discussed with management and the development team. (final update for today)
Final update - the HOPE is that a dupe fix can go out with Valg on Friday. All of this is complicated and compounded by that release. It's still #PositiveVibes. Catch you on the flip side - need to recharge. I'll be monitoring!
All transfers are disabled momentarily but should revert to items and creatures being restricted in 30-40 minutes.
Due to recent exploit developments, we'll also be disabling creature uploads on the official XBOX network. We hope to have this functionality restored as soon as possible.

@suchafcknladyxx Roll-back is not likely. Not likely being key words here. The decision hasn't been made yet so that could change.
We aren't talking about easy decisions to make or simple problems to solve. This isn't a cop-out. As always, we're going to push to improve and improve on mistakes. The fix still undergoing cert. I'll share more when I have it!
I know I know, ARK devs messed up again right? There are no good solutions here, only worse and slightly worse. Trying to make the best of the hand we've been dealt and realizing there are no "good" plays.

XBOX Survivors, in 15 minutes we will be disabling transfers based on the recent duping exploits on the Official Network. Transfers will be re-enabled when a patch is deployed to address the exploits.

Walking into the triage like..... Patch is still in cert and likely won't know anything until much later tonight (early morning)
Also, I can tell you there is an extreme aversion to wiping (as a "solution"). It's been discussed and not likely to happen.
