@SOLDIERCIDE That might be helpful! I'm curious as to how they have this set up as well.
@SOLDIERCIDE The issue with mods on console is usually certification. Companies like Microsoft and Sony require that content go through a whole list of checks. This also requires resources on MS/Sony end. On marketplaces like Steam there is no certification.

@M0nztr @AThiccNacho @survivetheark How long do you think it takes to make "new content" :)? Especially wiht a game like ARK that already has tons of content. It's a process. More content is coming :)
@Marie04738989 You're right, there are a lot of different ways and I won't say this is the "right" way. But it's not cool to assume that something is easy if you don't know the inner workings of it.

I'm all for explaining the intricacies of game development (as much as I can without getting fired) but let's be respectful and not assume that everything is easy. I wouldn't assume your specialty/craft is easy if I don't have experience in it. Ask questions don't assume :)

@Wxngyy1 @survivetheark It's really not that simple. Every decision goes through a chain of approval and sign-off. Some chains are longer than others. It's just business 🤷♂️
@deltaone72 Or we could have just waited and said nothing until tomorrow. I'd rather let people know today and give them the details tomorrow. It's been widely communicated that legacy servers won't receive the same support as non-legacy and are subject to closure.
